Finally someone from 888 partially resolved my problem.
the 1100usd that I had deposited were refunded to my skrill account with a debit of 21usd, I will send them an email until I receive this debit back.
But I'm here to tell you that 888 isn't scamming players like I thought.

I hope to receive my 21usd and the 5.50 from the tournament I was playing at the time of the block.

Hi, my account under the username "GetMyCoffeee" was locked a while back as two documents for proof of address was not accepted (mobile phone bill; airbnb receipt - which is accepted for my visa application in Brazil).

I moved to Brazil last year as I couldn't play online poker from my home country, and unfortunately I cannot have a bank account with a local address until I get my permanent visa or residence (for bank statement with my address); nor is it realistic for me to rent a place and pay utility bills under my name until I get my permanent visa which I am in in the process of procuring.

I emailed support a month ago explaining my situation, offering what I have offered above, and have sent subsequent emails every week to get my account unlocked but received 0 RESPONSE. I even offered to sign a declaration or affidavit testifying at to my current address; and have my lawyer testify to the fact that he is still processing my visa application to get my account unlocked, or at least allow me to withdraw my funds whilst I wait to get verified.

What am I asking for?
1) Pls unlock my account and let me play; if not
2) Let me withdraw my funds whilst I am in the process of procuring an acceptable proof of address, as can be testified by my lawyer (I can provide you his contact details and you guys can contact him directly)

Hello everyone,

I want to share my frustration with 888poker and see if others are facing similar issues. Recently, I've been struggling to verify my account on 888poker, particularly when it comes to proving my residential address.

After multiple attempts to submit clear and valid proof of residence, such as active account statements clearly showing my name and address, the company decided to block my account. I received automated responses claiming that my documents were invalid, even though they were clearly legible.

Furthermore, on one occasion, I was asked for a document in English, which is impossible for me as a Brazilian.

I'm curious to know if other Brazilian players are experiencing similar situations and if anyone has suggestions on how to resolve this. I'm extremely frustrated with this situation, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

fyi FROM SUPPORT,

The documents are not acceptable.
Can be in another language as long as clear and have valid stamps etc but the ones submitted do not pass the verification.
Ask to submit a bill in last 3 months - which is valid like water / electric or bank statement / CC statement - phone or wifi contact?

Hey mate,

I have the same issue, but as a foreigner. if they are asking for documents in English, get it verified by a sworn translator - you can find the information you need on a government website here (https://www.jucesc.sc.gov.br/index.p...tores-publicos). It costs maybe 100BRL$ but you got to do what you got to if you want to play there.

In a matter of weeks I gave the same data multiple times and each time it was the last thing they missed in order to complete a withdrawal.

After some iteration, they sent me a letter that I had given them info to a non-existent account and they could not complete the withdrawal. I checked with my bank, everything was OK. I even deposited this account, 888 accepted the money transferred from a non-existent account. At this point, they stopped replying to my emails. I created another bank account, made a small deposit to the site (888 again accepted a deposit), and tried to make a withdrawal to a new account.

At this point, 888 decided that they needed to block my account to verify my identity (as if we haven't been in direct correspondence for the last 3 months and they haven't approved all the documents they asked now several times). I calmly uploaded all the documents, and explained the situation and their response was a copy-paste of the last email which was something like "Your account is blocked, to verify your account you need to send these documents". That's directly after they received a full set of documents. Not a single tiny comment about what is wrong, just a brick wall to bypass which may take another 3 months.

Currently I have 16k$ on my account and I have a full resolution to get it back. I am begging 888 representatives to intervene once again because it is definitely not a way to treat a client. Thanks a lot for reading this.
