haven't been on this site forever, wtf happened to the STT lobby? highest buy in is $30, and only a 6 max Hyper Turbo? Also, there's $20 6 max regular speed, and Hyper Turbo, but no Turbo?? No wonder the STT lobby is empty

No, there are not. Crashes start happening even when the 8th or 9th table opens, usually after 40-50minutes of play. I have over 20 emails with support over this matter, none of their solutions help, so don't bother. It's useless. This software seems like an alpha version when compared to any other software on the market. They still have bugs that were around 2 years ago (i.e notes bug).

It's just top notch software improvement by 888 elite staff. They literally destroyed the STT lobby. They removed proper filters, so now, if you're playing $5 9max turbo you're forced to look at at every game between 10cents and $20 (turbo, reg speed, hypers, both 6 and 9 max). To improve things more, now they removed 6max turbos from their incredibly large game selection. Now you're forced to choose between hyper and reg-speed.

These is not even the biggest problem. Check this one out. They're sending emails with deposit bonuses every week, DEPOSIT THIS AND YOU GET THIS. MEGA OFFER BLAH BLAH BLAH... what they don't tell you is the fact that you can't unlock those bonuses. Those "bonuses" will dissapear form your account after 60days or at the first withdrawal. The only way to start unlocking bonuses is by losing your whole bankroll first, yet they told me that this is in the player's favor.

Such that you see the tables freeze and then you have to close the client and all the tables close. Then you reopen the client and log in again. But once you do that, all the tables take a while to load. Do you notice the same thing? I use HEM3 and 888caption. Do you use the same software or something else? What I find really annoying is after you relog back in the 888 client... you get every single mtt or sng lobby show up there as well along with the 9 tables which is annoying. Do you get that? You have to manually x each of them out.



The thing was not long ago, it was always the 10th table that is opened when this happened. Now its the 9th table opened every single time. I find it interesting you say its always the 8th or 9th table this occurs. I did notice after waiting a while for all the tables to load after reopening the client and logging back in again... as long as you do not open another table... then it is fine. Say you have 9 tables.. but say you bust out of one table... and now have 8 tables. The moment you open a 9th table... the same thing will happen again. The tables will all freeze and the client freezes and you need to close the client and all the tables and reopen client and login again. So it's like... you cannot ever have more than 8 tables opened at once. So you can't register for an upcoming sng or mtt if you have 8 current tables.

What is the actual 888 poker rake back :

I'm playing mostly STTs. Yeah... I think it's the 9th or 10th table for me too. It either freezes and you have to force close 888 software or it just closes itself without any warning. Most recently i've been getting opengl errors. To avoid having every lobby pop up just go to game settings and untick "open lobby once a table is closed"
And yes, I'm using caption and hem3 too. I still can't believe that this 888 software received the green light after internal testing and they thought it was a good idea to release it to the public and years later, they are still unable to fix a single major bug.

Hey. So I guess its the same for any player that wants to play that many tables since you say its the 9th or 10th table each time. If you don't do anything when the freezing starts the moment the 9th or 10th table opens... it just closes itself? Because I usually wait for a bit... then because I don't want to wait any longer I just force close the 888 software and relog back in. But how long would it take for it to freeze after the 9th or 10th table is open it just closes itself?



What do you mean by opengl errors? I do have the untick open lobby once a table is closed though...



Okay so you use both hem3 and caption. What laptop processor do you have by the way and graphics card? Also... do you notice in task manager... for some reason 888 client always runs the regular gpu?It shows gpu 0 and thus that is the intel hd graphics 530 for me. My laptop is old though but it is i5-6300hq processor with 1tb ssd and 32gb ram. For some reason, the 888 client doesn't use the nvidia geforce gtx 960m. So the 888 client can't use the more powerful gpu?

Stop worrying about which gpu 888 uses. It behaves the exact same way on integrated graphics as it behaves on high end gpus. GPU usage is not the source of these crashes. It's just bad programming. If you want it to run on your 960m for whatever reason, you can google and find multiple ways of forcing an app to run on a specific gpu. I might be wrong, but I remember that you could do that thru nvidia control panel too.

So this 100%, and I have brought up these issues about the SNG Lobby multiple times in the past in this Thread. The problem is either the Rep doesn't transfer this feedback to where it belongs to (the responses I got is that I am in the wrong ("the customer is right" doesn't seem to apply here, which it should, because for us players these annoyances persist and not for him, I'd at least expect a respectable response and me having the feeling I at least am heard, but nada)), or if he does sends the feedback to the people responsible, then nothing has or is ever going to improve it seems.

I have given up on this topic by now and also feel this thread is kinda useless to say the least, it doesn't seem like any feedback is wished.

The removal of the 6max Turbos (I haven't checked yet but if you say so..) is also ridiculous. Those were the best games pretty much and they did fill if people open-sat.

I can only imagine the amount of brain storming that was going on in the meeting where 888's top representatives decided that there was nothing left to fix regarding their platform other than removing 6max turbos. After fixing years old bugs, after stopping false advertisements regarding deposit bonuses that are impossible to unlock, after fixing their software to stop crashing every 10 minutes, after fixing their "rakeback" system that forces you to play sports or casino in order to get more than $100 RB every month, there was only one thing left to fix: the removal of 6max turbo games. A glorious new era is about to begin

I tried running the 960m with 888client but it doesn't even run it etc. So basically nobody could play 888 as their main mtt site then because of this? Why would they not fix this issue when this happens everytime the 9th or 10th table opens?



They thing is they also have lot of satellites as well so you could have lot of tables if you play both their mtt and satellites... but because of these issues the moment the 9th table opens, then nobody could play there?

it's an issue lasting for many years now. If they could, i suppose they would have fixed it by now. Probably a limitation due to poor software design. As I said in the previous posts, this whole platform looks like it didn't even reach beta testing. Major bugs that were around 2-3 years ago are still present today even though everybody has been complaining about them over and over again. There are over 1.1k pages in this thread. Just pick a random one and i bet you'll find someone there complaining about software crashing, notes disappearing, notes changing colors, random disconnects and other stuff. I also have a slight feeling it's gonna be exactly the same 2 years from now.

When you say its an issue lasting for many years now, you are talking about before they did that software update right? Do you remember exactly when it was? I remember the update from years ago where the entire table layout changed and it looked horrible and many people complained about it. Such as looking at the chip stacks and everything at the table was hard to look at.



But after a while, I did get used to it and I recall other players said the same thing. But even though the entire table layout changed, I don't recall there were any software issues. Or did that software change caused these issues? Because I remember it was the next software update after that one that caused it? I remember lot of players complaining about how it would auto fold you and you can't even sit back in etc.



But before that software change that caused these issues, 888 client didn't had these problems right? Because I remember years ago, there was rarely any issue with the 888 client ever and it was smooth just like stars before stars aurora. I did recall back then even when testing 12+ tabling sngs on 888 just to test how many tables I could play and if there was any lag and don't recall any. Was that the same with you with 888 back then? Were you able to play 12+ stt tables years ago with the old client without any issue since you mention you are sng player?

Do you also have that issue where when you are playing tables, doesn't matter if its a few tables or 8 tables... that the 888 client lobby doesn't pop up even though it's on the taskbar at the bottom? Many times I had to control+maximize/move/restore etc. So when you do that several times, the lobby will show up on the screen. Thus clicking the 888 client lobby on the taskbar doesn't bring the 888 client up to the monitor? Do you have that issue?



However, many times when you try to click on the tab on the left such as beginners, blast, snap, cash , tournaments, sng, it doesn't work. You can't even click on it. So you have to keep bringing the mouse cursor to the 888 client on the taskbar and then control/maximize or restore or move many times. But even then many times you can't even click on tournaments or sit and go. It seem like it eventually does work but you have to do it many times. But, if you were to bust out of table, then it sometimes would work? Do you have that same exact problem? So when you playing say a few tables or 8 tables, you can't even click on the tournaments or sng tab on the 888 client unless you do a bunch of trial and error.




How many monitors do you use? I use 2 external ones. Also by any chance does the 888 client messages such as you are currently registered for x tournament or x sng or when you bust out of it and it tells you what place you finish, does it show up in the side of your monitor where you can't even click okay but only on the side? You also have those ridiculous messages of you won a noble freeroll ticket and those things right? I do notice once all my tables are done... there would be at least 10+ messages that said... you finished x amount in tournament or sng and you literally have to click okay to all of them. So imagine you played 30+ sngs for the entire session where you can't ever play more than 9 at a time, you have to click that many of those messages?



For some reason only when you bust out of all your 888 tables, can you actually see these full messages on the monitor... as oppose to it being on the side of the monitor where you can't even drag it to the side to look at it. Do you also have these issues?



Also does the 888 client use a lot of the gpu% for you? It literally uses 50% at least all the time and the desktop windows manager uses like 40%+ for the gpu so you would see the gpu go up to 90% and higher. Stars doesn't even use anywhere close to that.

Hello 888. Another day, another crash



This type of error message starting appearing on my tables around a week ago. I don't have a single session without a crash on 888. I've made peace with that. This never appears in the early part of the session. I can play 15-20 sngs fine, but after that all of a sudden, this error message starts appearing. It always appears when trying to take a note on someone or when a sng ends and the popup should appear. When the error message appears, tables seem to run fine for a little while if i don't try to take another note on someone, but when one sng ends, the whole software crashes/freezes and i need to force close it and start again. After that, i can barley play 5-10 sngs more as the crashes tend to happen more often and i have to finish my session early.

888support suggested that I should play only 1 table, as each table is eating up ram memory and this might be the source of the crash. Please come with other solution. It's 2022, you can't tell your players to play only 1 table, otherwise it will crash. I have 32GBs of ram and a pretty beefy system.

Also, i'm using the latest AMD drivers 22.7.1

Agree for a little over a week things are not going right. Software tends to be laggy and I also have freezes of the whole software (+ it freezing my other sites that Run too!). This happens when popups appear in the lobby (end of SNG etc). I do Not get the popup shown on the screen, it's Just freezing and nothing works anymore, also me having to force-close.

i9 with 64GB RAM here so I doubt my specs are the issue.

Force-closing is the name of the game here on 888. As soon as things get a bit laggy, I start twitching my fingers to get them ready for what's about to happen

Hi there 888rep!

There's a clear bug where if you have an internet microburst (more specifically if 888 needs to reconnect) it will **** up all or some color notes.

To reproduce:
- Open a cash game
- Color up everybody
- Disconnect/Connect Internet or a VPN.

You'll notice some color tags change to others, rendering all your past efforts to categorize population useless.

Hope you can forward this to the relevant team to be in a future patch.
