I have question for you, why if site so successful and backed by many poker professionals you do not pay any workers since May and tell many workers that they will be fired but then cancel meeting to tell them when they get last paycheck? Many workers fired already and you delete these comments from instagram. Do you think players should be worried about they money disappearing ?

What's going on? I see several of their people on linkedin with Open for work badges.

Hello! I can definitely confirm what user HeathCram is writing here about the 4Poker. They are paying very very late for many months now and expect that employees will keep to working during this time. Already many people are fired or they tell them that they will be fired soon.

All of management in the company is unavailable for enquiries about what is happening in the company and no one want to talk at all. I think it is very dishonest for a company to treat people like this because we work hard and are not paid very much money but they expect that everyone is going to live for two months without any money at all. It is strange that here user Heych is ready to talk about how much professional poker players back a company and how positive a company is and how much it work hard for players but will not even respond to real proof that this is not true and actually takes days off work right now!

This is all very strange to me because many people in a company including the founder Bryn Kenney have said that they want to make the best place in a world to work but when it is time to be good to your employees we see what they really do! I hope all player considers that people at 4Poker are not acting in a honest way with employees and they are not so positive and friendly like they try to show.

You planning on paying staff?

A site created by "high-stakes pros" doesn't sound very warm and enticing. When I first read about this I thought of Full Tilt. Wouldn't be surprised if this site takes the same path as Full Tilt which was also created by "high-stakes pros". Where all the pros involved with the site use player funds to give themselves endless loans that they never have to pay back.

edit: Reading about staff not getting paid is disgusting. I wouldn't trust the people involved with backing this site with a quart of piss, let alone with my money on their "site"

Oh no! Heath Cram (user here who make thread) write sad letter that say she quitting her job as President of 4Poker! She very sad that she can not to pay workers.

Of course she trying to protect herself from very soon destruction of company and many imbarrassments.

She also mention in letter that she have drinking problem and mastubation addiction. Very sad

Hey FIRE! Have had to endure quite a lot of change, not at all unusual for any startup, coming out of our first 2mths and BETA launch.

Have asked Poker Room management to comment in due course and I’m sure they can add more detail when we get out the back of some internal and sensitive structural change - none of which is aimed at or impacting our plans for development, nor customer experience or the game.

Rest assured, our primary interest remains that customer money is always safe and can be withdrawn at any time - which it absolutely is, and can - and are now ensuring the business’ future growth plans are funded and sustainable.

odd how immediate conclusion is "ex-staff" or "troll". Assuming you're talking about 4poker, I am neither (though I prefer 'former' staff - it has less of a dismissive implication to it), though I have much experience with you and your principles - as an example, I know hiring outside male, pale and stale is really not your thing. There's nothing inaccurate in my post. Posting and engaging only with your customers/followers is an odd, yet unsurprising and uninspiring business model.

new to the forum but following threads for months and this site caught my attention...so decided to try it a couple of weeks ago although bryn kenney is not a saint of my devotion. i normally play gg and sometimes pokerstars.

the good: super clean and easy to-follow view, this is the way i personally like a poker site (not polluted with thousands of promos or distractions...daily freerolls are nice for a recreational player...daily tournaments are nice and with overlays, contacted support twice and they are competent...they run nice giveaways in their instagram, only requirement is to have an account...rakeback % is huge and deposit bonus is 400%. cashed out from winnings coming from a freeroll with my card and it was quick.

the bad: it's very new so traffic is very low (hope this improves in the next months), only hold'em for now (little variety)...cash games and sit n gos with low traffic, again hoping this changes soon.

I worked in pokerstars years ago and coincided with Heytch when he was director...a professional, caring leader, honest and transparent, reason why i could not just hold back and see how someone tries to diminish him or throw dirt at him. many things happen every day in companies, decisions are taken, people let go, etc...nobody really knows what happens inside, all i care about as a customer is the experience while playing on site.

Let's talk about user experience at 4Poker since apparently comments on how poorly treated staff are and how mismanaged it was from the start aren't going to fly. Although management trips to Vegas with 0 investor secured, or sponsored events with money that didn't exist, which generated exactly 0 revenue for the company should really come under more scrutiny than it is. And the sexism that is just truly truly rampant in the place, and lack of diversity. Should be called 4 white males.

How can player money be safe when P2Ps are being performed when there is no license to do this?
How can players be safe when their data isn't safe and none of it can be deleted?
How can players funds be safe when the site lost visa for months?
How can player money be safe when there's no one checking for cheating and there are no mechanisms to do this?
They don't know if someone is using RTA or VPNs and couldn't stop them if they are.

So yea if it's not about how bad the company is, let it be about how bad the product is instead.

As a customer - placing money and gambling outcomes in the hands of the company - of course you should care what goes on in a company, especially a new one. However, as a marketing puff piece - well done, not that it's totally obvious.

Wanted to write something long and productive but couldn’t really come up with anything else that’s been said before me. You have really shown the entire poker world and the industry that you’re a total piece of ****. Explain your “principles” to your staff who haven’t been paid for 1.5 months now or to their families why they are “disgruntled”.

How come you don't make this site available to customers with smaller bankroll. Even now there is a poker tournament that says main event2, but there are NO satellites, and the buy-in is 2100$.
I mean to get more players you should run guaranteed tournaments with smaller guarantees, and maybe one weekly bigger event lets say 20-50k guaranteed. To me it makes no sense that you guys have these huge buyins that non highrollers can never afford..
Also please run bigger cash game promos, that is also another way to get more active players.
