Hey guys,

Just wanted to chime in with my own review after the last 2.5 months being coached by Grayson. Personally I am someone who doesn't like to ask for help most of the time. I like to search for answers myself. You might be such a person too. BUT! I am grateful to have found a coach like Grayson who helped me improve my poker game tremendously. Sometimes getting help IS the right thing to do.

First of all, Grayson is a great guy who actually wants to see you succeed. He encourages you to think critically and helps you with logical systems that you can implement in your game. He is patient and I can only say that I really like him.

The main benefits I have found are:

1. More confidence in making choices during tournaments
2. Acquired many exploits that I can use against my opponents(that work really well)
3. Being able to use a logical approach in order to make playing hands simpler
4. Help with ranging my opponents and to play around that
5. Feedback on hands that I have trouble with and in that way improve my poker plays again.
6. Becoming the best player in my small home game with friends (also very important haha!)

Just by being coached by Grayson, I have become a better player (and am making deeper runs) and know the big tournament win is coming to me.

If you are still unsure whether professional poker coaching is for you, I would say give it a try if you can afford it. I say it has been great and I will continue for sure.

Just wanted to add a review for Grayson after being coached for the past 7 months or so.

First of all, my game has improved greatly to the point I felt confident enough to make my first 10 day trip to Vegas where I had a few tournament cashes and one deep run.

Coaching one on one is the best way to improve your game in the fastest timeframe. What is different about Grayson is he doesn't just go through your game and tell you what you should've done, he actually makes you think about what the best play would be and why. This makes it 100x easier to remember something the next time you are in this situation. He also will focus on a couple specific weaknesses that are the most detrimental to your game. Then once he has helped you to improve those, he will move on to other topics, rather than bombarding you with information you will not remember.

Grayson is able to think outside the box and create plays to counter act what the majority of players are doing. He also plays himself and will often send his own personal hand reviews so students can see certain plays in different situations as well as what he was thinking at the time.

I have tried many coaching sites and tutorials and although they were helpful here and there, coaching with Grayson has been where the majority of my game improvement has come from. It is personal, will address your specific weakness and work to improve them as well as actually be able to implement them in game. Overall, if you are looking to improve your poker game drastically, in a timely manner, I highly suggest to start coaching with Grayson ASAP!

Had my first session with Grayson on May 28, 2020. Since then I have played 409k in buy-ins online and have had 104k in profit with a high score of 11k. Grayson has helped me connect the dots between running sims and finding sensible plays and exploits. He shared his experiences and perspective from playing high stakes tournaments for years. He helped me reach a decent income level without having to play everyday or more than 35 hours a week. He has been backed, coached, and is friends with some of the best players in the world and can help >99% of poker players reach higher levels. He's a kind, humble guy and really easy to work with. Anyone currently not winning, close to winning, or winning at micro, low, and medium stakes, would definitely improve after one session of Grayson reviewing their hands in order to explain why their mistakes are leaks and how to adjust appropriately.

I started playing poker in mid-2020 and was earning $1-2k per month playing micro- and low-stakes online MTTs in 2021, never did more than $2500 or so. Started weekly coaching sessions with Grayson in January and quickly had my best month ever with $5k profit in February. No huge cashes for my stakes e.g. $2000+ (though came close several times) skewing that result and similar playing volume to previous months. Just tons of deep runs and wins in fields of 200-800 people and consistent cashes of $200-900. Have been playing a lot more MTTs at the upper end of low-stakes and lower end of mid-stakes with strong results - until recently those had been high variance for me.

Grayson has helped me to challenge my thinking in spots I had considered routine, helping me to implement logical thought processes and make large adjustments based on player type, stack sizes behind, bet sizing, etc to exploit opponents and avoid marginal spots. Grayson also shares write-ups on specific topics that come up during 1:1 coaching sessions which are helpful to study with. Last, Grayson gave me great advice on game selection that immediately and substantially increased my win rate.

Just wanted to write up a lil review of my experience working with Grayson for a 5 session package.

Having spent many years learning poker primarily from courses, videos, and self study, I was excited to work with an experienced coach who could provide a new and different perspective and framework to the game. Within the first session, I found myself thinking about spots in ways that felt outside of the box but always made a ton of logical sense. Since these sessions, Ive regularly ran into situations that I was able to better approach because of Grayson's coaching. I always find it very enjoyable to engage in a session and find Grayson's coaching style to top notch. The coaching is great value and it has paid for itself very quickly. I have been working with Grayson for just over 1.5 years now and he has had the single greatest impact on my game. I have gone through upswing, BBZ, RIO and other courses and nothing compares in terms of impact to the hours I put in with Grayson. I would say we have had upwards of 50+ hours of work together. I was a slightly winning/ breakeven player with about 15k+ in profit before I started working with Grayson.

As you can see from the attached graph, my results have done a complete 180 and my ROI increased by 15-20%. I am now +100k across all sites and attribute most of my success to Grayson. He is available outside of coaching hours to send hands to and never complains when I ask him a question. He is the ideal coach and I am very fortunate to have found him among the posts here.

From the ground up he taught me how to analyze other stacks at the table, what implications of raising into X stack in X position will have and how to approach each spot. If you are looking for somebody to tell you how good you play or affirm that you're a great player, this is not the coach for you. If you want to dedicate hours to getting better and taking criticism/ discussing hands from a logical, objective view then this he is the perfect coach.

I’m a long time online pro but lost my old twoplustwo account so I made a new one. I started working with Grayson in 2013 after years of mediocrity in my career. Too many downswings, a bad mindset and just a perceived slave to variance. At least that’s what I would tell myself.

Gray and I began by reviewing hand histories and immediately I realised how little I knew. It’s a strange feeling when you’ve been pursuing a career path diligently and then realise a decade later that you know nothing about your profession lol. It was humbling to say the least and provided a launch pad for me to improve my poker game drastically. Not only my game, but my mindset, finances, self confidence and self belief.

In 2013, online poker was an entirely different landscape. There were huge guarantees everywhere and you only had to be half decent to capitalise on that and make plenty of cash. Unfortunately I was a fish among sharks and so was not able to soak up any of that free money.

Grayson started off by discussing my career up until that point in great detail while also taking the initiative to find leaks in my mindset, not just my poker game. That’s not something you’ll get with a lot of poker coaches and it’ll help you immensely. His approach is extremely kind and friendly but with the focus firmly on improvement. He’s one of the nicest people I’ve met within the game and we’ve gone on to become very good friends as well.

I would say the 2 aspects of your game you will see the most improvement on, at least from my perspective, are:

Iron clad solid fundamentals. This incorporates everything from pre to post flop ranges, betting sizes from all positions and stack sizes, adjusting to the table online and live, understanding your image in the eyes of your opponents, leveraging that image to find exploits very few will, changing gears throughout the tournament as required, being ICM aware but also understanding how to attack those who are abiding by it too strictly etc etc etc

Secondly, repairing leaks with regards to mindset and overall approach to the game. This is quite an extensive topic and can be more nuanced of course from person to person. You’ll be beaming with confidence after your coaching sessions I can assure you that.

Mindset is such a key aspect of playing solid poker and it gets ignored often in favour of solvers and analysing the nitty gritty of each hand. We discuss hands in depth but we also take time every session to discuss a confident approach to the game. This incorporates everything from mental blockages that I may be facing and how to alleviate those, controlling winners and losers tilt, maintaining stoicism in the face of adversity and keeping my mindset positive so I can play my best game. The latter was something I really struggled with and Grayson has helped me immensely with that. I could go on and on about this but trust me you won’t find someone as dedicated to you as a person when it comes to poker mentorship.

I started coaching with him again over the past year and it has been instrumental to my progress as a player. We do multiple hours a week and I’ve seen huge improvements in both my results and overall mental state.

He’s a great person to learn from.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to give a shout out to Grayson who ive been able to work with on and off for the last year and half. During this span ive noticed significant improvement in both my game and results across multiple formats including live mtts, Live cash and online mtts. Over the last month of April ive profited close to 40k across all these formats and had my largest online tournament score of 29k after winning a satellite into a high roller. I really dont think I could have done this without Graysons support.

Grayson has helped my game in several ways and is able to analyze hands in ways that I would not be able to do alone. Ive found it helpful to my confidence to be affirmed that I played specific hands correctly despite maybe having a less than optimal outcome. Other times ,I’ve been able reexamine hands that I felt I played correctly which I could have actually played better.

I also wanted to share that I am having a baby in less than a month and could not have asked for better timing to go on a run like this. It means a ton for my family and has given me confidence in having some financial cushion with the baby on the way.
