[PokerPlayingGamble] [$20/hr] card counting coaching

Hello, I would like to offer my services as a card counting coach. With online NLHE becoming increasingly competitive, it has never been more important for professional gamblers to diversify their skillset and learn how to take advantage of other gambling opportunities.

Knowing how to count cards can not only present you with gambling opportunities that have three or four figure hourlies, given sufficient bankroll but can also unlock generous comps and give you something productive to do while you are on the list waiting to get into a good game.

My rate is a modest $20 / hr.

I also offer coaching for PLO microstakes at the same rate.

I was under the impression that today's games can't be beaten by card counters. Don't they change the shoe too quickly and have too many decks?

What games still exist that can be beaten? I've never seen any single deck being dealt. I think most are 8 decks + so you can't get an accurate count.

More decks don't really matter. Well, ceteris parabis fewer decks are better, but six deck and eight deck games can be beaten for a goodly amount especially with the right rules and penetration. Usually single or double deck games will have inferior rules and penetration to balance things out somewhat.

Anyway, there still are plenty of playable games out there. The great thing about blackjack, as opposed to poker, is you can precisely simulate your winrate simply by plugging all the conditions in to a blackjack simulator such as CVCX. Not only can you see your hourly, you can also see your std deviation, n0, risk of ruin etc.

The real threat are CSMs and 6:5, those make blackjack basically unbeatable. But as I said, there are still plenty of playable games out there right now, and with new casinos opening up all the time the total number of beatable blackjack games in the world just keeps increasing. Certain regions are worse than others, Western Europe for example is mostly CSM (some exceptions in Southern France). But the Western hemisphere is still lousy with beatable blackjack games. Blackjack's beatability is part of it's appeal, and casinos will never stop spreading beatable blackjack games imo. Card counters are so rare they don't really have much impact on casino's profits; if anything they serve as good advertising.

I haven't seen any casinos use more than eight decks. Even eight decks is a lot for many of the petite dealers to handle. Eight decks is easy enough to count, and while it takes a long time for the count to go anywhere, it also has good staying power once it gets up there. Again, you can simulate your hourly easily enough with CVCX just by entering in the pentration, rules, bankroll, and rounds per hour.

Penetration, how deeply into the shoe you are dealt before the dealer shuffles, does matter and makes a substantial difference to your profits because the deeper the penetration the higher the frequency of fluke true counts where you can make extremely profitable wagers. But there are still lots of games where they cut off 1.5 decks out of 6 or less (which is sort of a bench mark for reasonable penetration). It is important to shop around and find the best rules and penetration. Both matter significantly. Given a liberal rule set, your advantage increases more rapidly, so you can bet more and at a higher frequency, than in a game with worse rules, significantly increasing your winrate.

Just to be clear, you can learn everything you need to know about counting blackjack online for free. This school is a maybe a little dated but overall probably still stands up.

None the less, I feel I do offer value as a coach because I can shorten the learning curve and correct errors in your thought process as well as provide a "skills test" service for when you think you are ready to hit the casino. Either way you have to do most of the work of learning on your own.

I'd also be pleased to offer a coaching for profits service, where you give me 2k out of the first 10k you make counting cards, with no further financial obligations after that. No deposit required.

This is interesting...and I'm def not your target audience. I am just curious...this is purely live and probably not as easy to do online, correct?

There are online live dealer games that are beatable, but 4/8 penetration and slow game speed make these games a poor choice relative to B&M blackjack games.

Could you also think of offering CFP for PLO Microstakes?
