One of our original goals at Poker Detox was to build a coaching-for-profits program that provides clear direction for players who are stuck at low stakes. We have successfully built a program that used a scientific method to accomplish that goal with minimum frustration and guesswork. Our players understand what they need to do in order to be successful at every stage of their process, and feel deeply that being part of a team is a valuable force on this journey.

We have developed a system that provides the tools to beat HSNL, while being both simple to learn and adaptable to anonymous and known player pools.

Most players think these are competing goals. They think that in order to win at poker, you have to have a vastly complex strategy. Our results have proven this wrong, with dozens of players emerging to high stakes through our program. People make poker much more complicated than it needs to be. You don’t need a complicated strategy to win. Our goal is to teach you as quickly and efficiently as possible. If we were the students, we wouldn't want it to be any other way.

Requirements / Expectations

• You should be an established winning player at 25nl or higher.

• You should place a high value on being a part of a growth minded culture that subscribes to a scientific method.

• You should be prepared to dedicate a minimum of 25-30 hours per week to study and play. It’s preferable for students to have sufficient savings or a part-time job for life expense stability.

• We do not recommend trying to balance this course with a demanding full-time job.

• The agreement is for a minimum of 600,000 hands (1,000,000 if playing Zoom) OR 350,000 at 5/10+

• You keep 40% of your first $50,000, 50% of your next $50,000, and 60% of all profits above $100,000.

About to get on a long drive so will post more about my experience (which has been great) later, but here are my results to date.

Prior to the pandemic, I was mainly a live cash game player (who also played a fair amount of MTTs) and when it became apparent that there wouldn't be any live poker for an extended period of time, I became somewhat despondent. Luckily, I was introduced to Poker Detox. Poker Detox was founded by Nick Howard, former Run It Once coach, who in the stable leans a little bit more towards mental aspects of the game and mindset. His brother, Patrick, is now in charge of poker strategy and there have been several iterations of the stable's "protocol", the latest of which is called Mobius. Mobius is a thoroughly comprehensive outline to how to approach cash game online poker. Pat has done mass database analysis of online cash games (to my knowledge, noone has delved as deeply into this as he has) in addition to doing solver work and has used both to create the overall playing strategy for the stable which is an extremely winning one as you can see in the original post and my graph. They also have a high-stakes crusher Matt Marinelli who is part of the senior leadership and has created some additional training tools to supplement Mobius. I was very lucky to have been put in touch with them. I have grinded up from 25NL to 2KNL in about 18 months and honestly, I don't see myself going back to live poker anytime soon. In addition, to the great coaching and materials, there is a large degree of camaraderie among the stablemates, who further work on their poker game with each other in addition to conversing on a variety of other topics. We have a very active Discord server and have frequent group get-togethers (twice a year, I believe). The last one was in Cancun--I won a lottery for a free trip and had a blast!!! I highly recommend Poker Detox if you are looking to build your online cash skills with a proven team.

POKERDETOX CHANGED MY LIFE

Let me that you back to the year 2019. Pokerdetox just transferred me 400$ as my initial staking to play NL25 on Pokerstars and the journey began…
My backstory was that I enjoyed playing Poker and I had this deep desire to play it professionally and travel around the world. I had played live in Casinos and online NL2 and NL5, but have never really beaten the games. Also, I haven’t had any strategy and so I was lost in a lot of spots.

Then I received a proven winning strategy from Pokerdetox and started to execute. It took some time until my results started to go up significantly and over time I rose through the stakes, first 50, then 100, then 200 and then some shottaking at 500…

BUT then some serious life events happened and obviously my Poker results were horrifying. After a nearly 200k breakeven stretch I wanted to give up on Poker and texted the execs that I wanted to quit… Then they (Nick, Gabe, Pat and Matt) reached out to me, believed in me, helped me out and together we turned it all around. Also, the community with players who are consistently winning was uplifting my spirit – special shoutouts to my homies Lari, Pierre and Vittorio – on team trips we formed a special bond.

So Pokerdetox is much more than a staking company – it is a tribe of people who is striving higher, an elevated circle, a community that is there for you when you are down and of course a proven winning strategy. I want to thank this ‘company’ what they have done for me and some of them I consider family nowadays!

I remember one the first monthly update there was an example of an uploaded screenshot saying: Winnings 4938$ and I was like: “OMG, if I ever win this much in a month…”
Fast forward to this day I am playing NL500 on my own roll while shot taking some 1k games and consistently earning +5-10k per month while travelling the world – currently in Egypt and living my Pokerdream!

Do most of your students play on Ignition/Bovada?

It's a mix but that's one of the more prevalent sites in the stable.

Do you guys worry about stable vs stable violence?

What happens if you get 20 guys playing 2k nl - eventually they will be playing each other at a non worrisome %.

I personally do not.

I'd rather have non-professionals at my table than pros, but it doesn't matter to me whether they're in the stable or not, really.

Hi I'd lke to detox from poker. Is this program like rehab that makes us quit gambling? I notice from those non showdown graphs that you all seem very dishonest, and in the showdown world get found out to be telling other players at the table porkie pies in order to take their manies. Seems very unethical. Perhaps that's why you'd lke to detox us away from the naughty poker game. Do we need to be so narcissistic as to provide a video for you to fap over? Or can us shy retiring types also apply without a video? Cheer

How are the graphs the direct opposite of each other? One is epic non sd terri sd, the other is the stark opposite. Is this some sort of troll thread?

You're the only troll in this thread I see. But graphs will differ based on stakes, player pools, and how players implement the protocol. Note that my blueline was still slightly positive after around 150K hands before it went on a steady downward trajectory.

How many of these are from unknown sites?

The main sites our players play on are GG , Stars , Bovada , PokerBros , with a handful of smaller sites mixed in as well.

Our strategy and our community are the two most important assets that we have to offer our students. Having variance on your side is always a good bonus though

Just curious, but have you found that your MDA translates well over to live play?

This is from one of our students that grinds in a relatively small known pool.

Why not post average WR of entire group by stakes?

too lazy to post my otherpost but this has to be one of the worst ideas i've heard in a long time. Let's make everyone mediocre enough to beat the games and make them pay a bunch of money while giving away percentages of profit so they can learn to barely get by at the higher stakes. Poker is complicated. It is complicated. Let me say that one more time, it is complicated. Your system will win the bare mininmum by training rats to feed on a zap yet it fails to factor in the bunnies and then the wolves. This idea is just awful and your teaching students use the program to decomplicate the issues when HSNL is a complicated game. Don't over complicate but we aren't playing checkers here. Some of you are going to have a very hard time with the transistion and in any decent live game will get crushed because our AI says to do something differetent, something wack, forgetting about what makes a huge element to the game which is "the person"
