Had a great first session with Paul recently. We did a database review and he did a great job breaking down my current game and areas for growth. It was also very helpful to see the ways that he uses PT4, which is pretty new to me. Definitely recommend.
I just had my first 2hr DB review session with Paul the other night and wanted to leave a review.
Paul's coaching is understandable, personable, affordable, and extremely high quality. This was my first time diving deep into my DB, so Paul taught me a ton about how I can dig deep into my hand history to find leaks in my game. We also looked at some really interesting postflop spots with a solver which I hadn't done before, which was eye-opening for me as a relatively new low stakes player interested in the software side of the game.
Paul also gave me some solid hand thought-process guidance, and study techniques that I plan to apply to my microstakes grind. Looking forward to continuing to work with Paul and see a solid winrate at the micros! Would easily recommend Paul as a coach!
I have had one session with Paul and already learned a lot of applicable stuff that will improve my game straight away, he gives a lot of gems you can use when grinding. It's even better when you consider the amount of knowledge you gain for the price he is charging to coach. couldn't't recommend him more highly. looking forward to our future sessions.
I'm currently in the process of beginning private poker coaching / mentoring. I have been a coach for stables in the past and am looking to start more private work.
Here is 4 years worth of MTT results [since I started the game as a full-time professional and full time coach]:
As well as chipEV results for my last near 600k hands:
I'd be more than happy to arrange a chat with anyone interested in working with me sometime free of charge and see if we could work something out, and see if you would feel we would be a good fit for each other. I can help with the physical game, as well as approach to poker professionally / how to deal with tilt issues.
Here is my pocket5's: [note that tracking on cashes stopped correctly around March 2020 and I havn't updated my new screennames such as GGpoker / New Partypoker].
I've began coaching for 2 stables in the last 3 years, and I am charging much lower rates than most people with my background, as it's not so much a money making venture for me, as more of an opportunity to network a little bit, and help keep my own game fresh, so I'm currently charging at $40 an hour [Prices negotiable depending on things like bulk buy].
Topics I tend to coach are:
Poker Fundementals and GTO approach
HUD Setup [I have a fantastic PT4 HUD I would be happy to share and coach you in using]
Early / Mid / Late MTT Stratagy
Push/Fold spots and ICM Analysis [I have a background of working with one of the best hyper turbo players in the world]
Live sessions
Hand Reviews
Low stakes online cash
Professional Approach / Mental game approach / Efficient Study Approach.
I also play alot of 1/2 and 2/5 live myself, as well as alot of live MTT's [pre-covid] so am comfortable talking about the differences between those spots.
Look forward to hearing from you all
Paul
Hi Paul ,
I might be interested in some poker coaching. How do I find out more about this please?
