just finished my 3rd session with Paul. I had some free time, saw he was online and asked if he had an hour for a session.. within minutes, we were on a call. In that time, he was able to identify a huge leak of mine and we spent most of the session drilling down on it. When we were approaching the end of our time together, he insisted that we stay on the call for a little longer to go over some more hands

Hey guys. I'm an online cash game pro in the US that dabbles in MTTs here and there but never really understood a lot of the nuance when playing this structure and having to play sub 100bb stacks. So I had a session with Paul recently and he helped me find a bunch of fundamental flaws in my game to fix.
His demeanor is very friendly and personable and I appreciated his effort to communicate with me and his effort to make sure that the session would be tailored around what I thought I needed help with the most.
I've made a few deep runs since our coaching and I just think this is great value for anyone that needs help with MTT theory.
Just had a session with Paul yesterday and I will continue regular sessions going forward. He spent like 30 minutes extra time over what I paid for, he reviewed my database and took a ton of notes ahead of time prior to the session, and identified a few huge leaks almost immediately for me to work on.
We went through a ton of spots and he showed me some stuff that immediately flipped a switch in my brain. I had learned it, but I didn't truly understand it.
He explains well, but he also gets you involved by asking questions and making you think during the training, which is huge for me (since i'm a little slower haha).
I have booked 10 sessions with Paul and had five already (for a very reasonable price considering Paul's experience in the online high stakes MTTs realm).
I'm predominantly a live cash game player in London, mainly playing £1/2 and £2/£5. Our sessions mainly consist of going through interesting spots played in these live games.
The sessions are usually a mix of vocal discussions of the spots played and also GTO solver analysis. The vocal discussions usually entail talking about the live populations tendencies and how to maximally exploit their imbalances. The solver analysis is used when I am faced with tough spots vs regs. This helps me play optimally vs them, and in turn I avoid being exploited by playing closer to equilibrium. The solver analysis makes me think precisely about range construction, bet sizing and the lines I take in intricate spots. Paul forces me understand why the solver chooses the strategy that it does by having interactive discussions, which brings in a human intuitive element to the solvers reasoning.
Paul uses his experience of live cash games to provide me with a bunch of very useful live exploits, which I have been using in my own game to gain better results. Paul's students are also part of a discord forum, where the students are welcome to post hands they have played. He usually replies very promptly with his analysis and this service is free of charge with no extra cost. Paul and I have our sessions in one hour blocks, but he almost always overruns the sessions for an another hour at no extra cost - giving me great value for money!
Overall, would highly recommend booking Paul for coaching sessions, whether it be for online low-stakes MTTs or live mid-stakes cash games!

Just finished my first lesson with Paul yesterday, and am definitely impressed with his knowledge and willingness to help. The first part is a given for coaching, but you can tell that he is actively engaged in the process of improving your game, and isn't just doing this to add to his hourly. For the price he charges I didn't expect him to be as established as he was, previous coaches I was looking at didn't have the results he had and was charging more than he did.
Even before my first session, we conversed mutiple times through discord, giving me generalized advice that he absolutely did not have to but was happy to provide. I also got access to his private discord with his other students, even before my first session, and was able to post hand histories for review and discussion. Paul not only actively contributes to these discussions, but posts customized solver outputs for all spots posted. I can't overstate how valuable that is, and have to reiterate that he did all that for free without any prebooking or setting up of a session before hand.
On top of that, you definitely get your money's worth when taking the actual lessons. I gave him a copy of my database, and he spent time going through it b4 the session and analyzed and identified major leaks and was ready to discuss them during the lesson. Also, even though I was booked for just one 2hr session, we went over by at least an hour and at no point did I feel like he was trying to end the lesson prematurely or hurry it along and wrap things up. I was actually the one that had to go and ended the lesson. Not only did he provide me with detailed notes on what I need to improve on, and provided me with proper study methods, he provided personalized solver outputs on specific spots that I was unsure of and some to back up what he was saying. Everything he says is backed up by the math, in fact on one spot he wasn't 100% sure on, we paused the lesson while he ran the numbers.
You can tell that he actually cares about his students and their success, which is the most important aspect to look for when shopping around for coaches, and with access to his students discord and the discounts for bulk sessions, Paul is definitely the best value for the buck.
Had a really good first session with Paul last night. He reviewed my database and provided notes on the major leaks in my game. He was very clear in his communication and was more than willing to help when I threw some questions his way.
I will definitely be having future sessions with Paul.
I've had a few sessions with Paul so far. One was a full hand history analysis and another to prep for a tournament. I've been casually playing poker for years, but really started taking it seriously this past year. So I still have a lot to learn. Paul is great at breaking things down. I also enjoy the extra perks he offers outside of the coaching session. He has a discord channel where you can interact, ask questions and post hand histories for review. He also made a point to let me know that he's always accessible should I have a follow up question about one of our sessions. He's also been flexible with my schedule. He's in the UK so there's a time difference to work around, but so far it hasn't been an issue. I've only had 2 sessions, so I'm not jumping up in stakes quite yet. But I'm working on implementing the strategies we've talked about, and looking forward to learning more and becoming a more profitable player.

Paul's coaching style is honest, precisely what someone who wants to improve at poker needs. This guy is ready to go above and beyond to help you identify your leaks and not just be a coach but a mentor.
