Hey everyone, I’m Alexandra and I’ve been a professional poker player for over 3 years now. I’m currently also a coach for RunItOnce. Before poker, I obtained my Bachelor’s in Psychology, which is still a big passion of mine. I’m currently enrolled in a Professional Development Program in Transactional Analysis (a particular approach to counselling and psychotherapy). If you’re curious to know more about me there’s a blog I used to update on 2+2 here:
https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/1...spost-1824367/

I recently started taking clients into counselling for poker mental coaching purposes and as a result of positive feedback, I decided to start advertising this service. As I’m just starting in the area of poker mental coaching, I decided to take 4 students (individually) for discounted rates.

The process for intake is usually:
You can contact me on Skype (live:f0706e552e1a9818) ; Whatsapp (+40772255447) ; Discord (bixton1m) and I will send you a google forms doc for you to fill.
I will contact you for a short intake call where we discuss conditions of working together, expectations, what I can provide etc. (this is about 20-30 min call at no cost).
If we decide to work together, we establish the date for our first session 😊

Rates: As counselling/ mental coaching is not a one-session thing (meaning not much can actually change in 1 hour, or if it does, change is usually not long-lasting) I’d highly advise you to go for a bundle. I offer 5 sessions x 1hour for $500 (this is a discounted price and will only be available for a few students), or alternatively 1h session for $150. (However I do not recommend this second option, unless for very hands-on issues that you need simple guidance/ advice for)

For those interested, my counselling approach combines Transactional Analysis (TA), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Techniques.

Transactional Analysis (TA):

Overview: Transactional Analysis is a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Eric Berne. It focuses on analyzing and understanding an individual's social transactions or interactions. TA divides the personality into three ego states: Parent, Adult, and Child, and these ego states influence an individual's behavior and interactions.
Key Concepts: The key concepts in TA include ego states, life scripts, and transactions. It aims to help individuals recognize and change unhealthy patterns of communication and behavior by understanding these concepts.
Goal: The goal of TA is to promote personal growth, improve communication, and resolve inner conflicts by making individuals more aware of their ego states and transactional patterns.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT):

Overview: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is a mindfulness-based approach that focuses on accepting one's thoughts and feelings while committing to actions that align with one's values. It was developed by Steven C. Hayes.
Key Concepts: Key concepts in ACT include mindfulness, values, and committed action. It encourages individuals to be present in the moment, accept their internal experiences, and take action based on their values, rather than being controlled by negative thoughts and emotions.
Goal: The goal of ACT is to enhance psychological flexibility, which enables individuals to live a more meaningful life by understanding and managing their internal experiences while pursuing their values and goals.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT):

Overview: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy is a widely practiced approach that focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It was developed by Aaron T. Beck and Albert Ellis. CBT aims to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and replace them with more positive and adaptive ones.
Key Concepts: The key concepts in CBT include cognitive distortions, automatic thoughts, and behavior modification. It involves changing irrational and negative beliefs to improve emotional well-being and behavior.
Goal: CBT aims to help individuals manage and alleviate symptoms of various mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and phobias by addressing the cognitive processes that contribute to these issues.

Is it likely you would make training videos on there based on these therapy methods?
