I’m looking to take on 2/3 25NL students who I can help with improving their game and move up in stakes. Since I mainly do this for fun I aim to team up for around 3/4 months -so no long term commitment - for 38% of your net profit. The goal is to let this be kick-start of your career.

Who am I?
I’m Joost. 24 years old and I’m from the Netherlands. I started with poker somewhere in the pandemic and after a break I started in January 2021 with 6-max NLH cash games in NL2. Around June 2021 I moved up to 100z as my main stake and in September I started taking shots in 200z. In October I got hit with some unfortunate news: Dutch regulations where introduced and out of nowhere I wasn’t able to play anymore. I decided to go to Malta but returned a few months later after struggling with sleeping problems. Since then I’m mainly focused on studying and I’m planning on moving abroad again on 1st April/1st May. I’m still in the beginning of my career and performance is by far my biggest leak. Up until this day I struggle with focus issues and tilt. In terms of poker improvement everything is still going very smooth and once I got rid of the performance issues I’m confident I’m going to go back to climbing.

Why do am I doing this?
As said I’m currently mainly focused on studying and currently I have a bunch of free time. My game keeps improving everyday but I also want develop on different parts of poker. I always liked the idea of coaching but I rather saw myself doing something like this in a later point of my career. But with the current circumstances of me barely playing + the path that I walked last year I decided to give it a shot. I’m confident I will be able to help someone to improve his game a lot and rise in stakes.

I experienced the whole stake rise thing relatively recent. From walking in the poker world being clueless to have my own ideas and philosophies about the game and how to become a crusher. I’ve seen a lot of people around me stagnating and getting stuck. Also I see a lot of people in the community miss pretending theory and being clueless about it. This experience will help me to help you to do it right.

Winning sample on 50z on stars - medium sample
Winning sample in 100z on stars - big sample
Winning sample in 200z on stars - small sample

200+ pages written on spot/hand reports; solid theory knowledge and understanding on all spots

What do I offer?
-At least 2.5 hours a week coaching (will be more in the beginning)
-Clear and detailed approach on improving your game; de simplification approach
-My philosophy on exploitative vs theory: How to pretend and implement solver logic into your game. When and how to exploit.
-Going over spot by spot with you. Explaining/making a clear game plan on every spot with going in on the “why?”. (Don’t confuse this with a cfp strategy file)
-Always open to ask me questions
-Multiple preflop charts/sims
-Scrips x 92 sims on all the common spots
-Excel reports on all common spots including 92 x 49 turn reports with filters (for sale)
-Written spot reports by me on every spot

What do I look for in a student?
-Playing 25NL
-Willing to put in work
-Preferably play on Pokerstars (or at least no rb grinder environment since I think the focus should be on improving)
-to be Able to let go of his ego, not being afraid to show awful played hands

The goal:
So clearly the ultimate result would be to make a 25NL break even player a winning player in NL50. But since the plan is to only team up for around 3 months and bankroll and variance plays a part in this I think it's better to focus giving the student a backpack of information which from he can work with throughout his career. To give him the knowledge and understanding of the game that helps him now why and what he is doing in game, and which he can improve from bit by bit by himself.

Hey man thanks for your message. I've received a bunch of messages/applications but took a week off and caught covid afterwards. Tomorrow I will decide and pick 2 students I'm going to team up with (so basically people can still message me/apply today). I'm not planning on taking on more than 2 students for now.

I am interested in coaching sessions. I've just installed Flopzilla, GTO+, and DriveHUD. So still learning how to set them up. I record my sessions so there is plenty of material to go over. Please contact me on how to possibly proceed
