About Me:

Hi - My name is Rob/ImmortalCedrique I’m an old school midstakes player who returned to poker last year.

I played 6 max professionally for 5 years until 2014, then running a business took most of my time. Last Summer I deposited back at 10nl and took the game seriously again. After many hours of play, study and coaching I am now taking shots at 200nl.



I am offering Micro stakes coaching from 5nl to 50nl at $40/Hour



I can help you escape the micros by :

• Knowing how to use a solver properly

Solving these can add an enormous amount to your success and can be the difference between moving up quickly and stagnating. My 15 years experience both in poker and businesses has taught me the specific skills for life outside the 9-5 and how to approach the game as a professional.

Your win rate in poker comes from technical understanding of the game, and the ability to execute this at the tables. That is why I take a holistic approach which focuses on:

• Technical : The underlying mechanics of the game, from GTO to combinatorics.
• Psychological : How real humans react to your play and how to stereotype and exploit their play
• Performance : How to hit an A game flow state and how to stay afloat in your C game

I typically start by taking a broad look at your game through a database and hand history review, then narrow down our focus depending on your strengths, weaknesses and goals.

Hand History deep dive - A look through selected hands, with a focus on your thought processes and an explanation of any necessary theory
Video Review - A look at your in game play, to spot an recurring errors, with a focus on how to exploit the table

Just wanted to drop a comment to say Rob is a great guy and a great player.

Really talented when it comes to knowing where he's at in a hand, intuition for how humans will respond to X or Y.

If you're playing recreationally, I have a lot of confidence in his ability to talk you through things systematically and guide you out of unforced errors.

$30/h is an absolute steal. I doubt he'll be that price for long.

I’m currently taking shots at 25nl and have had 4 sessions so far with Rob. I have noticed an improvement in how I analyze situations already.

Rob is very observant at noticing what factors should play into a decision. We have also worked on finding under-bluffed spots and being able to actually pull the trigger, which I have struggled with a lot. Looking forward to more sessions going forward!

I played with Rob way back on the live scene and have been taking sessions with him to work on my online game. I’m only a part-time player but he is great at explaining how to find the balance between exploitation and GTO. He is also a wealth of poker knowledge in general.

I'm just coming back to poker after a few year hiatus. Been playing the micros online, and decided to get coaching from Rob. He's a great guy, and I've been seeing a noticeable improvement in my game since I've started sessions with him. I really can't say enough good things about him!

I've had twice weekly sessions with Rob for the past month. My Game has improved significantly and have gone from slightly losing to winning at 25nl.

We've worked on upping my aggression by attacking over folded spots, and finding exploitative folds in underbluffed spots. Understanding the actual frequencies of players at this limit has been useful and we have done some solver work to compare with GTO. His knowledge on when to deviate based on player reads is way above a lot of the generic content I had followed.

Aside from the technical stuff, Rob has helped me structure my overall approach to the game which has helped tremendously. Simple adjustments to my note taking/study structure and warm up have also been useful.

He's also genuinely one of the smartest and friendly people I know, which helps.

I have had regular sessions with Rob for the past few months and have improved both technically and mentally

Getting regular feedback from him has helped me smoothly transition to the 50nl games. He is very detail oriented and great at explaining the most important factors in any hand and also from a mental game perspective, helped me positively frame many of the difficulties that come with playing poker

I have found him always willing to answer follow up questions after a session and he obviously has a lot of enthusiasm for talking about the game and always seems very invested in my success.

I have had weekly sessions with Rob for a little over two months now. Rob consistently goes above and beyond what is expected from a coaching session. He provides detailed and thoughtful responses to questions I have as I play throughout the week, has prepared spots for a lesson when asked about specific spots, and always takes the time to answer questions past the hour mark of a session. In the time I have been working with Rob I have seen my game improve drastically. I started as a slight winner at 10zoom and now feel completely comfortable beating the stake and have started mixing in 25zoom as well. Overall, Rob is a great person who always comes happy to teach and hear about how my game has been going. For anyone considering a coach I would highly recommend Rob.

I have enjoyed the few sessions so far and intend to get more as they have been very informative!

My regular sessions with Rob have been great for my game. I was previously only winning after rakeback, but my win rate has improved after working on how I think about situations (avoiding autopilot), playing more aggressively and more exploitatively. He has also always been willing to answer questions outside of our sessions, which has been helpful and I can recommend him highly as a long term coach.

Had my first session today, and Rob seems like a strong player and a great value for anyone looking to up their game. Get in now while the price is still cheap.

I also been coaching a few Live players recently ($1/$2 through to $5/$10). I have a lot of experience with Live Cash at low and mid stakes - deep stack and straddled games in particular.
