What do you think about this tool for learning range from a GTO prospective?

Student have to fill the color cell with the hands. The position dictate the range.

I put the screenshot of the empty tool and an example of range from CO.

For learning preflop ranges I think this tool might be helpful to aide in memorization of preflop charts. Although there is quite a lot of important info missing and it may lead to some pretty massive errors down the road. Stack depth should be specified either at the top of the chart or differentiated in each section. Also this tool is probably an oversimplification as 3b bluffs and 4b bluff candidates are chosen in very different ways. Main overall concern with using this as a study tool is that it could form some bad preflop habits for the students who use it.

This is key.

People adhere too much to ideas that they invest in. The larger the investment, the stickier we are. Learning and then unlearning hand charts are common features of most poker trajectories. When students spend time creating their own chart, the chance is greater that they will have trouble moving on.

The sunk-cost fallacy affects us all.
