I wish I had seen this post earlier for the $50 coaching rate!. I’ve been playing PLO5 At MDLive & MGM National Harbor for the past year recreationally. John is definitely a player I tread lightly against at the table. He seems to know where he is at in a hand and makes life difficult playing against him. I’m always checking the 5/5 and 10/10 game when it runs and see him playing every stake.IMO even if he isn’t the best teacher (we have never talked poker so I can’t speak to that) having someone that plays at his level talk to you about the game would be well worth it.

Thank you for the kind words! I have a lot more experience teaching poker than I did when I made that post. Your post inspired me to offer a holiday special discount of $125 an hour and $600 for 5 sessions, valid from now until December 31, 2024.

As a PLO4 player only, I’d still say this coaching is quite valuable even if you don’t play PLO5. The online document that you are also sent in addition to the coaching contains a lot of information and heuristics which make playing easier.

Finally, the hand reviews that John does are very helpful and allowed me to plug leaks and holes in my game.

My winrate has gone up quite a lot since I acquired coaching and I would definitely recommend it!
