I'm a 200nl player on Ignition.

My strengths are using high level MDA (data from a 245 million hand DB) to exploit population tendencies. I show you the actual data (instead of telling you) and walk you through the best way to exploit your population.

Here are my results so far:



I approach Poker like an Academic subject in a University/College. There are 12 major games trees in poker:

2bet pots
3bet pots
4bets pots

IP PFC/OOP PFC/IP PFR/OOP PFR

I have generic data on all spots and filtered data on the most common spots. Poker is becoming more and more of a data game. You need to know which spots are over/under bluffed and the nuances associated with it.
I will email you all the MDA we go over in the session via a folder so you have it for the future (as well as the video recording of the session).

I play full ring 200nl at ignition Im just wondering if you have noticed anything diff with the play in december and especially in January? IMO
there was so much timebanking, back raising, 3betting just overall the games were just awful? Not it could be just me because Jan I had my worst
month ever but everything feels diff now.

I wanted to come by and drop a little review if that's okay (can remove if not).

First, $50 an hour is a complete steal IMO to talk with a winning reg about a topic that most players are completely unaware of. You're missing out if you don't take at least one session if you never had one. And if you did, I guarantee he will show you something that you didn't know and maybe it is even something you are very sure about but very wrong about, who knows, go find out

I found DDP to be quite organized with the data (if you know a spot you want to look at, he can take you there) and it is clear that he is a high level thinker and approaches poker with a methodical and winning attitude. I can't give away anything about the details of the session but I can say that I was very satisfied with the time we spent going over material and I am looking to book future sessions.

Had my first session with DDP a few days ago. Super informative even though I've already studied some MDA. I like that he went into the "logic" of certain players and why they play spots how they do.

The data is for Ignition, but comparing it to my DB the imbalances are similar just with differing magnitude. There's still massive room for exploiting known pools you just have to be a bit subtle vs thinking opponents.

Overall I can't see how someone would regret booking a session even if the price were doubled.

For someone claiming to be an expert at MDA, you sure have a weak grasp as to what a significant sample size is. You can't even acknowledge the obvious that your sample is meaningless. Do you expect any thinking person to take this coaching offer seriously with evasive responses like these and a complete lack of meaningful results?

If you think his price is too high then fine, I understand that. But a player winning 11.4 evbb/100 over 60k hands is extremely likely to be beating the stake handily are they not? And obviously good enough to beat the stakes below that.
Why is this thread so full of posts shitting on the guy? It doesn't seem fair. Is it because of the beef with BS? I agree that didn't make DDP look good but obviously the guy is a decent player. Unless a coach is an obvious scammer or something I don't think it's right to clog up a coaching thread with hate like this.

No serious online player has only played 60k hands. If you purport yourself to be an expert, you should back up your claims without the need to cherrypick results. Multiple people asked him to post his whole graph, which is a basic request, and he dodged that request and instead insulted them by calling them beginners. I have played millions of hands, if I wanted to coach, I wouldn't just cherrypick the best 60k hands I can find.
