Question - when did you produce these videos? If it was some time ago have you updated the content to remain relevant? Have you come across any issues with the content being dated?

1) They were produced in late 2011. I have added videos, but not in the last 6months. If you see the content of my coaching, you will see that i produce timeless content. I'll give you proof of this in detail:

I've stopped playing full time early 2010. People always ask me if "the games got tougher" . My answer is: Not if you learn poker the right way. I can (and have) sit down any day and smack most 1k and 2k players.

You might think this is just talk, so i've taken on a student who has barely if ever played HU in his life. That was 9 month ago. He played NL4 and now crushes NL1k. Last month he made like 30k. I've done that with 4 people before him, but never publicly.

That was HU btw, but it's all about simply understanding HOW this ****ing game works. The rest is just staying focused and mentally strong when the downswings come (they will come!). 6max is no different.

This may sound very cocky, but no other coach has the balls to do this, nor do i think they are capable of this. It's easier to have some buddies and friends write comments like "what a nice guy" or "he is tough to play".
Most coaches aren't even winning players.

The greatest proof are successful students. Not those who already have been rich, but those who had nothing and made it.

2) No downloads, sorry. Our courses premium content and we protect it in many ways (logging IP's , creating unique videos for every member so in case we find something on other sites, we know who the guilty one is).

After having a real tough month in july (was about to have a losing month) these last three days have been phenomenal. I grinded a whole lot and just had my first 5 figure day!

I want 6max coaching, but can't find a lot of students in this topic who get coaching of 6max. Also the vids on your website are made in 2011. Poker has changed verry much since then. I am playing 600NL 6max. Also you graph sample is verry small sample only 70k. Can you prove that you beat 600NL+ this days?

I have a very limited availability atm. Usually i would recommend my courses. But since you play NL600 i will not recommend my courses to you. They are made for players up to NL200, max NL400. No doubt they would help you, but there are more effective ways in your situation, specifically 1-1 coaching.

I recommend you get some coaching from Yourdoom (has a thread here as well).


Let me answer your questions anyways:

I disagree that poker has changed very much. I don't believe in "secrets", but this comes as close to a secret as there is. One of the specific things i teach is that poker NEVER changes.
Economies change, your hourly goes up and down, but the basics to beat the game never change.

* about 60% of my students are HU and 40% play 6max

* I'm not playing full time anymore (read OP)

* Bigger samples and my screenames are not public, but have been officially verified by pokerstrategy.com (where i also work as a coach "Raskolnikov") . In this thread you'll find detailed posts on the why and hows.

* About "the games changing". I teach some tricks, but mainly the fundamental and deep understanding of the game. My content took a long time to create, but it is timeless material. Well anybody could say that. Many do say it... BUT...

If you scroll above a bit, you'll see a post of a student who just made his first 5 figure day. This guy was living in a ****place like 10month ago, was pretty much broke and has never played HU in his life (aka not more than a few hands).

Today he's beating the nl1k games and I was the only source as a teacher. So you can assume that i know a thing or two about getting real results and would have no problem going back and beating peoples asses.

He's btw not the only one. There have been others and there will be more.

Since I only play deep cash games (250bb+), I wonder if your videos are for 100 bb games (6max).

I didn't want to sound cocky and say he is the 2nd best option after me.
My time is limited and you're playing to high for me to recommend you any of my courses (as explained).
I wanted to help you in case you're looking for a different option.

they definitely are suited for 100bb. They are actually made exactly for 100bb. You learn concepts and ideas that will help you in your super deep games as well.

Ryan (Yourdoom) emailed me and asked me to clarify that this post was not a direct comparison of our coaching abilities, as both of us haven't taken coaching from each other and as such can't "objectively" judge the other. This is obviously the case.

most if not all of my courses are made for players between NL25/50 and up to NL200.

Some students want to invest more than others. Some play poker as a fun hobby (but still want to win) and some want to become serious professionals.

And what about personal coaching to focus on my leaks particularly and tilt management? Are there any options? I want to put as much effort as possible to study the game and achieve better results. However, i cant rely on videos to much. I have other subscriptions and they didnt work out for me.

I'm very busy at the moment, so i can't coach personally. Even if i had time, I'd have to recommend you anyways getting 10 hours of coaching with 3 bonus hours for 3000 Euro.

Solution:

1) That is perhaps more than your Bankroll. So for that reason i've created courses with the main concepts that i would teach in a 1-1 lesson anyways.

The courses are very different to subscription sites, but if you prefer 1-1 work with a coach, read 2)

2) I've taken a few players now with a lot of attention under my wings.

a) One of them (find him in this thread and on 2p2, "Imachampion") is already playing NL1k now after starting at NL4. This is HU.
He is coaching for a lower amount than i do, but probably booked out, since he plays 99% of the time. And its HU.

b) We're doing the same/similar for 6max . I'm working with a student who does a lot of progress in 6max atm. I told him that coaching is something he should do to improve his game further. He hasn't had many students, so i'm sure you can get him for a dirt cheap rate atm, perhaps $30/hour (maybe even less).
