Best training sites 2022 for oldies who have been away from the game? Best training sites 2022 for oldies who have been away from the game?

I played full-time from 2009-2013 studying a few hours a day at deucescracked but have been away from the game for a while, frittering my time away in employment.

I'm still managing to hold my own at NL10 + NL25 stakes but feel I need to be brought up to speed with today's games and hopefully transition into some NL50 soon.

Any recommendations for a training site with intermediate + advanced videos and possibly some good intro videos for using solvers?

Bumping in case I've put this in the right section.

Looking at RunItOnce, seems pretty good at 25 bucks. Am I missing out on essential solver tools here though?

Not sure how much GTO+ is but i think its under $60 bucks for a lifetime subscription to the solver that coupled with flopzilla pro which i think comes with it is pretty neat for studying.

I think runitonce is good material i think with black friday coming up there should be some deals all over the training sites

They have a decent course called "From the ground up (cash)" by Peter Clarke which will give you solid fundamentals. It's only $49 and it includes 1 month of their cheaper membership plan. There is no solver study at all in the course however.

Peter Clarke now has his own training site and course which explains GTO theory and how to deviate from it to exploit the population's tendencies. It's called Carrot poker school and I believe they have a sale atm. Check out their free videos on YouTube to see if you like the style maybe? GL

Thanks for the tips guys, very useful!

Think I'll invest in the ground-up + 1month RIO deal, I'm kind of a rec player now so not worth me investing in the $1k courses just yet.

If I start getting my ass handed to me I may invest in some more tools.

As someone who has primarily been a live cash game player back before the initial poker boom, and was also on a short hiatus during the "gto boom," here's what I've been using so far:

GTO Wizard premium
Several Upswing courses (Lab and others)

And about to start coaching with a couple of the GTO Wizard......well.....wizards

Software I have:

Pio Edge (with a server)
GTO+
All the simple products (post flop, 3 way, etc)
Flopzilla
Power Equilab

All of them are very nice and have pros to each. I would't say there are many "cons" as they all do what they are designed for very well

Without paying $100-$1000+ per hour for coaching, I'd say GTO Wizard is probably best bang for buck for learning/studying theory.
