I am done now with 20 hours of coaching with giova, will keep myself short. Did a few coachings already (activ 500z players), have to say i got the most out of giovas approche. We build flop strategie for all diff boards ip and oop, turn/river barrels, how to identify good bluff combos on rivers/bluffcatchers, flop checkraise, when to deviate from gto, how to play against whales, and so on and on... I am not a 1k NL crusher by any means by now but i do good in all 100NL pools(winning pre rakeback) and very recently even in some 200NL pools. Got a really nice baseline to make it to high stakes one day. All i can say is thank you giova! I know people like graphs more than words, so will post my GG graph from this year 46k hands of 100NL and 4k hands of 200NL. Graph will be shown in BB.

New update to my Mentoring !!!

I am now also offering the option to split the costs of 1 month mentoring across 5 different students. These 5 students will receive the same value that is available in the standard mentoring package. In summary:

- 12 In Depth Play and Explains where I discuss my complete thought processes (more detail than twitch/Youtube/exploitative considerations, etc) and 2-3 recorded study session where I show the optimal and most efficient approach to studying.

I did some work with Giova on a long term basis and was comfortably able to move up from 25nl to 100nl during this period.

Gio's approach is to focus on firstly clearing up and working on GTO fundamentals then building up an exploitative layer on top of this to maximise win rates across the pools. We generally begin by breaking down certain high frequency spots in game using Pio to understand the mechanics of what's going on and extrapolate our own strategy from there.

As stated above Gio is very in tune with the mental side of the game which is just as important as the technical side and sometimes discussing mental game with somebody who has beaten 500 and gone through the ups and down is worth its own weight in gold!

Gio's strength is breaking down complex spots into clear and concise thought processes. His ideas around using "questioning" during game is quite profound and developing this with him will definitely add EV to your game.

its time to share my feedback to Giovas Coaching after i worked over 20 hours with him.

before joining the coaching i had a reasonable understanding of how most of the frequent spots work in theory but almost no clue how to spot common leaks in my opponents game and wich are the right exploits to their deviations.
In the time we worked together we took a look at my stats and spotted potential leaks i need to be aware of. While reviewing multiple spots in Pio i learned a lot about whats important to focus on and how to nodelock right.

He has a great knowledge of poker and with his calm approach hes able to teach even complex concepts with ease.

there is still much more to learn but i feel now way more confident in my decisions and have all the tools i need to move up in stakes.

Worked with Gio for a quite a few sessions. His approach is very thought-provoking compared to most other coaches. We can spend 30 minutes on just one texture because Gio wants you to understand the intricacies that can happen with certain combos, and the interaction it has with certain turn / river runouts. To me this offers a different way of learning rather than going through 5 sims in an hour. He challenges you to have a deeper thought process and to have a purpose with each decision you make. Definitely has a great mind for the game and will add value to yours for sure.

Just finished 10 hrs coaching with Giova and highly recommend him as a coach.

He starts with session review where he sees the flaws in your game and thought process and builds the next sessions around the leaks he finds.

We worked on finding better turn and river barrels, correct sizes, hand reviews of biggest pots, exploiting pool in commonly misplayed lines, fine tuning my thought process and many other things that came up. We also spent a session on how to study in a highly effective and engaging way, giving me the tools i need to keep improving and move through the stakes.

Giova has lots of knowledge on the mental aspect of the game and drops gems of wisdom into the sessions on how we can improve our mental game, which is often overlooked.

Not to mention too he is also a top bloke who is funny and easy to get along with. I always had the sense that he really cared about my game and how I improve as a player.

Just wanted to share a bit of my experience after having worked with Giova for 10 hours.

I started looking for a coach because I felt I was a bit stuck in my career: I was breaking even on NL25 (mostly playing zoom on stars at that moment) and with no clear path on how to improve. I had taken many poker courses, and had worked with solvers, but I didn’t know how to integrate an efficient studying routine, or how to dive deeper into strategies to adapt and exploit opponents. Decided to work with Giova after seeing his videos (on youtube, but also on runitonce) and talking to him. I had worked with a different coach prior, and it was different from the get go. Giova wasn't trying to spoon feed a fixed strategy or program, but instead focused on what I was having trouble with.

In terms of poker theory, he helped me better understand how to develop strategies on my own, and how to implement them through study and practice. This has helped a lot because I now understand how to actually get better in different spots/formations, and while the process is long, thinking through the in-and-outs and adapting my own strategy has given me a different perspective on the game. I feel my thought process is clearer, but also malleable.

Also, before working with Giova, I had unresolved performance issues. I had been working hard on my mental game, and ultimately thought that once I improved the technical aspect, I’d be in a better position. While this was partially true, working with him I’ve been able to shift my perspective on the game - he’s provided a lot of valuable resources and has been key in identifying where these problems are rooted (and how to tackle them).

Overall, it’s been very +EV to work with Giova. Definitely will look to work with him again in the future!
