Hi from Vegas. I came here on Tuesday via NYC in standard economy class, so my neck is still as stiff as the Grand Prince's game. I have done well against Patrik for the last couple of weeks but losing it double everywhere else, which doesn't amuse anyone but Mika Puro and some others who wish that I would lose every time.

I played a couple of sessions and I was up 2 mill (I won 1 mill from Patrik in an hour; there's a couple of hand histories below) but then everything was a blurrrr, my speech was slurrrred and I got durrrred, and even Ivey was there... and so I lost 2 mill in no time. These losses occurred in Sin City, so it hasn't been the best of trips in that sense.

NBC Heads-Up started on Friday... My first round opponent was Gavin Smith. It was a pretty easy match even though I can't even play No Limit. Gavin raised on the button twice in the entire match, so that should give you an idea how it was... In the next round I had Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and he beat me in 1.5 hours... I made a couple of bad calls, and then in the last hand I lost with AT vs 22 all-in preflop... that's it.

That meant I didn't have to save my energy for Sunday so we went to the new nightclub at Encore, the XS, Ivey paid for the drinks and we got totally wasted... After all, I had given him that 1 mill just a couple of days earlier so I guess he wanted to keep the fish happy.

There's a new 500/1000 PLO table called Ziigmund Coliseum on PowerPoker and we had some action there already. Even Hoyt Corkins was waiting for me there with 100k but then he wouldn't play when I sat down. So I have been playing just online poker here plus the tournament... no wait... I did go to play 20/40 No Limit one night totally drunk and donated about 20k. Today the games have gone well online and I have taken back about 0.5 mill but I'm still down 1.5 from the trip. I guess I'll have to take it easy tonight since I'm flying back to Finland in the morning, via NYC of course. We're probably going to check out Guy Laliberte's show in Treasure Island... Then again, you can always fly drunk, too... Let's see.
