Lol, I think you're leveling yourself. Sarcasm and irony is often confused, because people who are sarcastic use irony to say one thing, and mean the opposite.
What you don't seem to understand, is that there is a difference between irony at large and "situational irony", which you think is all there is to the term. Please do not say anything further on the subject.
