Actually this is a political question. Two kind of people think that Finland is part of Scandinavia.
Those who wish that Finland was more like Sweden and more integrated to European Union and it's ideologies see Finland as part of Scandinavia.

Finland is a Nordic country.

Its not about politics, its about how you feel. Other finns please tell your opinions also but i´ve allways considered Finland as part of scandinavia, ive never heard any finn said that we are not (or am i just so F:ing clueless)... Id have to look at my old school books but im pretty sure they say the same so F wikipedia imo. Who wants that Finland was more like Sweden?? Finns are very proud and patriotic nation and we do things our own way here. Is that okay with u? Or should we call sweden for some advice ?

Naah, Scandinavia and Finland

[ ] linguistic match
[ ] genetical match (they have mixed but still Finns arrived from the south, not west)
[ ] historical match (well compared to other countries, monarchy and all that stuff)
[ ] geographical match

Wikipedia is an english source, it's actually their idea to group them all together.

just because our school books say something doesnt mean its true.

yes, we were taught that finland is part of scandinavia (mainly to distance our country from russia). no, i dont think finland really is a part of scandinavia.
