the most likely is that someone who is a MONSTER at chess can easily learn to be competent at backgammon and PLO, and can therefor have a shot. But chess is the one that you really just have to be amazing at to have any type of shot at winning against a grandmaster.

well imo it is a decent bet getting 10-1 if you consider yourself starting at "0-1" (the chess loss) if youre awesome in backgammon like gus. In plo unless its 600bb deep he got a decent shot against ziig.

I think the challenge is pretty much ridiculous.

Maybe Jeff Sarwer could have a go...like others have said, the chess in it makes it impossible for normal gamers to have a go.
