Ive folded aces full in an online 5 card draw game HU where my opposition was about the easiest to read ever. He had to have quads. I have trip aces and it goes bet from me on the button, raise from him in bb, I reraise and he reraise again. We are both real deep and its PL. This player will NEVER 5-bet predraw without a full hand. So I just hope to suck out. When he draws 1 Im looking for quads and draw 2. I make AAATT and know its dead. I so wanted to fold that hand face up.

Im the only one I know that has lost with AAAA in 5CD. But Ive played several million hands in that game.

i like this fold honestly.....its a little weak utg....open limping isnt exactly and option, the ev of this utg isnt exactly too high either....I will play jts utg occasionally if im playing with a lot of stations but back to my original statement....good fold....

i once folded QQ on a AQ9, all club flop, i got 3-bet preflop, and figured even if he had AK w/ K of clubs I didn't wanna gamble, with only 1 buy-in

ps. picked up the queens the next hand and felted a guy lol

Deep in an MTT.

Folded AKo after flatting an UTG raiser who I earmarked as tight after sb shipped and he autocalled giving me compelling odds.

UTG had suited AK and flopped the nizzles, so bad fold but whatever.

definatly...why would you ever fold AA pre unless its a misclick, at the end of the day unless hes got kings the chances of him calling an all in reraise are very slim, and even if he has he still might. understandable you don't wanna lose all your money on a badbeat but still...you crazy lol

Two hands come to mind.......first: live 2/5 game i am in co w 600 and KK, two limpers I raise to 30, BB 3b to 90, I flat....hu. Flop is K94 two diam. He bets 200, I flat, turn is Qd, check check, river is Ad, he shoves, I fold face up, he shows AA.

Second hand disgusts me.....I have 99 in utg +2 in a deep 5/10 at Red Rock, I have 4500 behind, 4 players limp including myself to co who raises to 60, Amir Nasseri calls on button, I call and 2 limpers call. 300 in pot, flop is Q 9 6 with 2 spades, It gets checked to PFR who bets 170, button calls, I make it 900 and player to my left shoves for 5k, mind you he is the tightest player I have ever played with, I tank for 12 minutes and fold, not disclosing my hand. I also had my whole bankroll on the table, real bad idea. He showed A9 spades.

I went back to work one month later.

have you watched poker after dark? the play is horrid

Those who quiver in fear at the mercy of others fold JTs UTG 6-handed. As I said, I would imagine even the tighest sensible player would at least limp. If Howard is THAT afraid of his tablemates, then he shouldn't have been sitting at the table.

Edit: And for fwiw, folding A9o in the SB is pretty damn awful, people.

folded aces full in a live game. Omaha/8. I have A224 in an ak4 flop. Bet and raise to me. I call and turn is A. Bet and raise to me and I muck. Am shown AK and KK by the other two.

I think this hand was actually discussed somewhere on 2p2 before, I read in on another forum described by I guy I know who was at the table. This July Bellagio 5K tourney, flop T62 with two hearts, Yevgeniy Timoshenko bets, another dude calls, and an old guy raises. Timoshenko goes all-in and gets a call from the second dude. The old guy thinks for a while and then open-folds ... TT, saying something like "I know one of you has a flush draw, I don't wanna risk it". Timoshenko shows 22, the other guy a flush draw. Turn card brings a flush, river 2. Good fold

In a $330 buy-in live tourney I folded QQ on a flop of AhQc3h after this old nitty dude reraised my check raise on the flop. Folded face up and he turned over AA.

Uh, the guy made the mistake of accidentally posting his blind with his entire roll (a decent sum of money) on the table.

Putting the chips in there, even with AA, is pretty dumb. Making the initial raise to $2400 was even dumber, and accidentally posting the blind was epic dumb.

Assuming there's any tuth to the story.

Opened KK UTG for 200 in the Bellagio 25/50, one caller, Brad Booth shoves 13k from MP, folded back to me, I fold with only like 6k behind. I didn't know him at the time at all, except that he seemed like a very good player. What a ******ed fold.
