I shudder every time I hear his name. Sure, I dont know him, but he is probably top 2 of people that I just cannot stand (Jamie Gold being a close tie). You can be emotional, I get it, but PH? He is a completely new story, and I just dont get how he cant just say nothing or say GG/Nice hand and get on with his life? I mean, its not like he cant afford to lose a tournament or bust right? I would imagine someone who has nothing and who bubbles the WSOP FT in a cruel fashion will get emotional, cry, etc. But a player with 30+ years in poker who doesnt NEED the money or the win? I will never ever understand it, and find it the most annoying thing ever.

Phil should be talking more about being involved with regcharity, or something similar, or about any direct donations he makes to some charity. Has he ever dontated anything to charity? Given his incessant name dropping and self promotion, I'm sure he would let everyone know with great fanfare about his generous donations. crickets on that front from him.

Taking money to help charities is not charitable. Its just taking money.

Phil does not play the highest cashgames in the world or takes up these"internet kids" offers because he knows the game passed him by. Phil doesnt participate in any of the big EPTs and super high rollers regurarly because hw knows hes outmatched.
