It is weird because if you look back at all the well threads on this site for 20 years there’s rarely any trolling, including Limon’s old well. I guess Limon has brought this on himself but it used to be Limon was beloved here and his only trolls were high stakes cheaters. Now, all his trolls seem to have a weird kink of getting him riled up enough to be viciously insulted. That’s not how I would spend my time but I don’t know why Limon is getting hate for providing laughs for some and scratching that kink itch for others.

Phenomenal post. The lack of engagement with it tells us a lot about why the thread has stirred up negative emotions in so many.

It sounds like a good idea, the ask me anything thread. However, he says he is a literal legend and then says he plays 15 hours a week, all private games. He talks about owning people by telling when they are bluffing. No strategy, much less GTO. Then he starts attacking people and cussing at them. Why not just answer them or even ignore them? It seems like he couldn't answer so attacked.

I assume there was some interaction with the moderators which led to the ban. It seems unfortunate as he was adding life to the forums which are not at all what they once were.

The fact ppl want him unbanned despite him being a complete piece of garbage to other users is hilarious.
Its only fair he stays banned or you have to unban anyone who did similar or less in fairness.

I'd be ok with option two. If Limon is being ridiculous and too much trouble to moderate by all means, ban him. Same with the thread, if it's out of control and too much time and effort to moderate it, lock it.

The thread should still be available to view and hopefully not removed. Decent amount of good content in there and was going strong for a while. Locking is fine, be removing is wrong.

would it be possible for someone to volunteer to moderate Limon’s thread? If it was taking up too much time.

always find his insights very interesting and maybe he should have different rules to everyone else as not many people have made millions over many years from poker.
