Only definite is the 1k WSOP Senior on the 15th.
Booked the Strat on the cheap and put the extra I would have spent on a hotel on a car rental. No real plans for other entertainment other than restaurant hopping. Having lost 45lb recently I'm looking forward to enjoying some of the gluttony that Vegas can offer, within reason. I won't eat a salad the whole trip.
Hope you have fun/success and below are some of the seniors events I plan on playing this year.

I too would like to play on Trooper Thursday but Golden Nugget's $370 seniors is on the 14th. Westgate will be "plan B" if I bust out early. I'll have other chances on the 21st or the 28th.
You were right to rent a car. I stayed at the Strat years ago when it was Bob Stupak's Vegas World. Most of the table games were gimmick versions. Both dealer cards up in blackjack but dealer took ties and BJ just paid even money. Crapless craps, where if your initial throw was 12, that was your point. Etc.
It was Super Bowl weekend and they had a tiny sports book with just a handful of available prop bets.
The limited available action forced me away from the property often and I don't think I've ever spent more on cabs in a Vegas weekend. Pretty pricey cab fare to Downtown or to the Strip.
Do your research on parking fees and your rental will have been worth the cost.
