Pretty sure Coronavirus was originally incubated at a WSOP.

at an international gathering so many extra people get sick because they dont have immunites from the strangers and being in such close contact for hours without being able to move away.
one reason i wouldnt play many tournaments as you were forced to sit next to a hacker and the floor wouldnt do anything about it. just a guarantee the rest of your tournament weeks would be strained.
plus generally average time spent in a tournament made less in ev than that in bigger cash games.

You knew it was all over when they started serving probably certain exotic dishes to their Far East whales. Perhaps bat soup or monkey brains was on the menu. Who knows!?

Grunching,

I just Googled and saw an article from November 2019 saying that the CCC would be open in March. Did that happen? I haven't even noticed the existence of the structure.

EDIT: I don't see any updated material for the CCC using the Google machine either.

Eldorado not letting go of CZR acquisition.

To raise much needed cash. Sold $800M of stock. Sold some Vegas land. Stock went from $60, down to $7, and back to $40 since Jan

Any updates on the progress of the convention center and when it might be done? I tried poking around but didn't find much

Also, whether it's been confirmed that WSOP is definitely moving out of RIO to the new convention center?

Maybe WSOP staying in RIO was a part of the El Dorado deal?
