Oh, and I just read how Hachem busted. About the best way possible for never being ahead in the hand.

But it does make for a nice dream.

This Dennis Phillips has to be the luckiest SOB in the poker world... luckboxed last year and now luckboxing again???? That hand just now.. 5 kicker plays.. what a joke, and he didnt even get the most value he could have because had he put Tran on a RANGE instead of thinking of specific hand he would've gone for more value.

Fkn donkament luckbox.
07-13-2009 , 11:51 PM
ivey destined to win this

His turn check was fkn terrible and his river betsizing was too.

My god this guy actually doesnt know how to play poker and yet he might win big again.. this is just cruel to the rest of us who come to this site trying to study the game day after day and probably can destroy his entire bankroll if we ever get the chance to.

I played with Phillips a few hours last year, i thought he played great for an amateur.

Tian Shou opened with a raise to 90,000 from middle position, and it folded around to Leo Margets who reraised to 200,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded, then Shou shoved all in. Margets made the call, putting herself all in for a total of 868,000.

Margets showed , and Shou . The community cards came , and Margets is now up to 1.802 million, and Shou slips to 738,000.

---------------

My God do these idiots even know how to play poker.. AK minraise pf in SB OOP to 1/4 of villain's stack LMAO

Yeah yeah yeah I know they're in it I'm not.. but this is ridiculous.. we're in top 100 at least show that you know how to raise how to look at stacksizes how to valuebet how to put people on ranges okayyyyyy... I mean if they're playing in WSOP ME at least you would think they would read up on these topics just to prepare themselves.. like you would read up on the road rules before taking the driving test... apparently not.

I am pretty indifferent to Phillips, but some of you people on NVG are just ridiculous. A5 vs. A4. The best hand holds up the entire way, and the guy with the best hand the whole way is a luckbox? It is not like he rivered a 5 to take a hand in which he was dominated.

Ivey On the Move!
Before the flop, Hac Dang opened with a raise to 80,000. Halfway around the table, Phil Ivey three-bet it up to 260,000. Dang moved all in for about 620,000, and Ivey made the call to put him at risk of elimination.

Showdown
Dang:
Ivey:

You know the rest of the story. The flop rolled out , drawing a huge reaction from the cheering squad assembled on the ledge. The and that filled out the board did nothing to save Dang. He's been sent to the rail courtesy of Ivey's two-out jack, and Phil is all the way up to 3,260,000.

awesome. i dont like the dongs.
