was there a problem?

making it winner-take-all will never happen.

Do Harrah's allow final table deals? They could still do this...

okay my math is not great but i'll attempt and someone can correct me if i'm wrong.

so if 5 percent of players are left that will make the FT, that means, if everyone had equal skill and equal stacks, each player would have a 5 percent chance of FT it.

ivey and elky are 2 players, so you took 10 percent (5+5).

so right now, it's 90/10 against you.

that means you would need ivey and elky to be 5x better than the average player with the average stack to make your bet good?

it's up to you to determine if you think their skill plus their larger than average stack size is worth more than 5x.

at first i thought you made a bad bet, but thinking it through, it's reasonable.

i made a 1:1 bet that the current chip leader will NOT make the final table.

GO IVEY!

That is all.

This is the dumbest post ever. Sebok would be a great champion. He is very media savvy, he is young, his father is Greenstien, and he knows every pro. He would be great on talk shows and the promo circuit.

In terms of helping poker grow, Sebok would be a much better winner than Ivey, for example.

He doesn't like us though! So we can't support him!

Your math is flawed.

Your reading comprehension is flawed too, his bet is the other way around.

Have a nice day!.

Your friend is stupid should be like 7-1 odds i would assume or ever more.
Both these players are super aggressive and with 185 players left you are huge fav win this bet. But I really hope Ivey will do it and iam sure we all do.

you just have to adjust your playing style to fit this structure. hardly ridiculous.

Reguarding the turning away of hundreds of players: Casinos that turn away gamblers, who have money in hand, are run by idiots. The Dumb clerks who made this decision should be fired; WSOP commissioner, tournament director, etc...

Thats my point, its too skewed. Its better for TV? meh maybe a bit, but Im talking about fairness, not about TV advertisement.

Not enough love for Eastgate at the moment. A brilliant attempt at getting his title back, it has to be said.
07-13-2009 , 11:47 AM
I love Eastgate, I wanna marry him, I wanna raise his children

Enough love?

right. so those winner take all tournaments are "unfair" (dishonest, biased, unjust) as well as the double or nothing SNGs b/c of their level of skewing.

you were doing better with the ridiculous argument.

(do you see how trolling, assholishness works? many ppl can do it, like yourself).
07-13-2009 , 12:15 PM
Wow lol Im glad you took it so well

very good arguments there, you are making a lot of sense, I feel so dumb now

/sarcasm

Take it ez buddy, I have just 1 question: what was so trolling of me before?

Interesting matchups to start the day:

Benyamine and Jordan Morgan

Ivey and Eastgate

Prahlahd Freidman and Tom Schneider

Elky and Sebok

Dennis Phillips, JC Tran and Hachem

i see the big names getting cut in half today
