Go Ivey.
tilts me to, pretty crazy from both of them stacking off 150bb's on the flop with those hands in these circumstances.

benyamine and akenhead will make final 9.

That AQcc vs tens was rediculous, I'm actively rooting against this zackey character now.

"Floor!"

This was a matter for Tournament Director Steve Frezer, and he was at the table in no time. He listened carefully to the dealer and to Denis before making his decision. The rule is that the player is 100% responsibly for protecting their own cards, and Denis failed to do that. A long but civil argument ensued with Denis gesturing wildly, shaking her head, and glancing back and forth at her foe, the dealer.

By rights, Frezer probably could have taken her whole stack, but he showed a little mercy and only took enough chips out of her stack to cover the initial call. The remaining 110,000 of her chips were returned to a very upset Denis.
So, to sum it up: She was all-in prefop, drawing dead (0% equity), in the biggest poker tournament in the word.

That SUCKS.

All In and Mucked

Probably close to the odds of the girlfriend reaching the last 210 players of the biggest poker tournament in the world and then loose half of her remaining stack because she couldn't keep the cards protected.

30 minutes on the clock and then we stop it. 195 players left atm.

Not really paying attention, and thinking the hand is over. Happens pretty often actually.
07-12-2009 , 09:20 PM
30 mins left in the day!

i don't care if it's a pro or not, but someone with any kind of marketable face (read: reasonably attractive woman) or personality needs to win - someone that can go on a talk show or something and actually draw attention or be entertaining. can you imagine yang or eastgate on the tonight show? a marcel luske-type character would be great.
