It's not that unlikely that a big name makes the final table, given the amount of big names left.

I don't play tourneys...is this standard 30BB play?

On the first hand of the day, Nick Brancato open-shoved for 251,000 from the cutoff and Ray Deruyn, holding 445,000 in chips, made the call from the small blind.

Brancato {Q-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds}
Deruyn {6-Clubs} {6-Spades}

Brancato's queens held on the {A-Spades} {7-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {10-Spades} board and he doubled up to 523,000 while Deruyn slipped to 190,000.

no one has mentioned olivier busquet, aka livb, sick SnG player. still in it and doing well.

if i had to put money on someone not many ppl know about, i'd go with eugene katchalov.

was katchalov at a WPT final table last year? if so boy ran like fire, bruises all over his face where the deck had hit him so hard
