thats just unbelievably brutal
07-04-2009 , 09:24 AM
Thought they were playing five levels per day one?
07-04-2009 , 10:12 AM
With the lower number of entries, it appears they decided to go with 4 levels for the first 2 days.

ESPN's coverage of the main event starts in mid-August. Final table in November.

Taking the over usually means if you set a line for something (Team A will beat Team B in football by 7 and someone asks if they'll take the over, they went to bet it will be over 7 and you win if it's under 7). In this case, whoever said that about your post thinks there will be more entries then you guessed.

Does everyone like the televised final table in November? I forgot to look for it and had no idea who won until the National Heads-Up tournament and the Eastgate kid was mentioned. Aside from him not making good TV because he's 'boring', did he get his publicity due when he won last November?

In the main event, they showed 2 hands when he was heads up with Demidov. Not sure what additional publicity one would expect.

The final table in November was dumb because it was supposed to prevent people knowing who won before it was broadcast, then ESPN spoiled it the day of the broadcast.

They also butchered a few hours of HU down to 2 hands just crammed in like an afterthought.

The board filled out and Kalusal took out the small blind, doubling up to just over 60,000.

from wsop.com

This hand makes like zero sense.
Did sb put in around 30bb pre flop with 43s?
Did he make a huge overbet?

It was probably a limped pot with 4bets on the flop, right?
Stacking off with trips no kicker 300bb deep in a limped pot, weee.
Really depends if Jonas raised PF or not. Donkey could have put him on a big pair and thought he'd trapped Jonas....

Besides, obviously he was blinded by The Power of 4. Hard to blame him, from here anyways...

Almost right, but close enough for government work.

Over/under is a bet made on a total. Total number of runs by both teams in baseball, total number of points by both teams in football, etc. You bet either on the over or under the total number set by the bookie/sportsbook.
