Meanwhile, Christina Renz has been sitting on the short stack for most of the day. Just now she was in the small blind, and the the table folded around to her. She looked down at her hand, then at the 50,000 or so she had remaining.

Before acting, she had a question. If she turned her cards face up, would it kill the hand? The floor was called over, and it was explained that it wouldn't kill the hand, though she'd face a penalty for exposing her cards.

Renz decided against turning her cards over, and shoved her stack in the middle. The big blind folded, and then she showed her pocket aces.

loooooooolz noobs. how the *** can they fold to a chick with 50k in the sb to begin with tho?
because he knew she had aces

Kia Hamadani = Bubble Boy
The bubble has finally burst!

Kia Hamadani was all in for his 500-chip ante as Reed Hensel raised it up to 17,000 from the hijack position. Both blinds made the call.

The flop landed and Hensel fired 20,000 to force folds from the two live players.

Incredibly, Hensel tabled an imaginative , perhaps to the dismay of the remaining 647 players in the room who wanted to burst this bubble. However they didn't need to worry as Kia Hamadani could only find in the hole as Hensel held the lead with his nine-high.

Hensel sealed the deal when the spiked on the turn and followed it up with the on the river to take down the pot.

Kia Hamadani is eliminated as the bubble boy as the Amazon Room exploded into a round of applause and cheers.

Hamadani was then introduced to the room as it was announced that he wouldn't quite go home empty-handed as the WSOP and Jack Link's would pay for his buy-in into the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event!

Seemed like a reasonable play to me. Main pot was really small, and if he felt the bubble situation was profitable to him at his table, then it wasn't bad to try to keep it going this way.

Raising the all-in player on the bubble with 92? WTF??? Nice to know that poker ******ation is not restricted to the low buy-in MTT's, where this is a standard play. This guy deserves a good smacking on general principles imo.

Ivey will ship this and deserves to with his qualities...

Or maybe he had got to know the other guy at the table, liked him + was trying to help him survive?

Max Greenwood Eliminated By Kenny Tran
From the cut Max Greenwood moved all in for 86,500. Prahlad Friedman called from the button and Kenny Tran moved all in from the big blind. Friedman then got out of the way.

Kenny Tran: KK
Max Greenwood: QJo

The board came A65K9 giving Tran a set and the pot to eliminate Max Greenwood from the Main Event.

Kenny Tran - 800,000
Prahlad Friedman - 150,000
Max Greenwood - eliminated

wtf is friedman doing there?

chip count must be off

Don't know why Hensel's getting grief. If I was confident my opponents were running scared of the bubble, I'd happily bluff to take down a pretty decent amount of chips. The shorty is *so* short it's almost an irrelevance if he wins or loses.

its just horrible to call off almost 40% of your stack and then fold with any hand in this position.

he probably had more behind or the all-in was less. wouldnt be the first time that pn reports were a little off.
