After a series of preflop raises, Brian Shapiro was all in from late position against Kevin "BeL0WaB0Ve" Saul from the small blind.

Saul: {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds}
Shapiro: {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds}

With ESPN recording the hand, Shapiro felt the need to ham it up for the camera's, standing from the table and screaming "Please don't put a king, please, please don't put a king"

Flop: {K-Hearts} {10-Spades} {6-Spades} giving Saul his set.

Shapiro got his backpack on and prepaired to leave, however he got a glimmer of hope when the {J-Diamonds} landed on the felt.

The river then brought the {Q-Diamonds} giving Shaprio runner-runner straight to stay alive.

Several "Whooo's" came screaming from the mouth of Shapiro. After the string of excessive celebratory exclamations, Shapiro stuck an index finger in Saul's direction and proclaimed "Do that to me one more time...double me up again! Whooo!"

Saul sat staring at Shapiro in silent disbelief of the act of unsportsmanlike conduct.

Tournament director Jack Effel came over to the table and offered Shapiro a stern warning and a one hand penalty.

Chip counts after the hand:
Brian Shapiro: 167,500
Kevin Saul: 685,000

Molloy Needs Another Ten

John Monnette opened the pot with a raise to 10,500 from early position. Action came around to Denise Molloy, and she moved all in for a total of 57,000. Monnette instantly called with {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades}, and Molloy's {10-Spades} {10-Diamonds} figured to be her last hand of the day.

The flop tripped up both players, coming {A-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} to leave Molloy dead to one out. "Oh wow," she said, shaking her head. "I need another ten." The turn came the blank {3-Clubs} as the ESPN cameras closed in on the table. "Ten of clubs," pleaded Molloy. And wouldn't you know it, the {10-Clubs} struck the river like a thunderbolt, drawing a big celebration from Molloy. She paced around the table yelling, "Oh my god! Quads! I had one out!" With that miracle one-outer, Molloy doubles her way up to 120,000, now just slipping ahead of Monnette.
monnette should be primed to start berating the dealer after this.

Hevad Khan Eliminated

The man who has brought so much entertainment to the Main Event over several years, Hevad Khan, has just been eliminated within sight of the money.

After a preflop raising war, Khan and his opponent Norman Gautron found their chips in the middle before the flop.

Khan: {A-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Gautron: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Gautron takes down the monster pot to 520,000 to leave Khan with just 9,000 in chips.

"That's poker..." sighed Khan.

A few moments later Khan was all in with {A-Spades}{7-Spades} against the {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} of Brendan Taylor with the board running out {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{K-Spades}{4-Spades}.

Khan hits the rail just short of the cash.

From Cardplayer.com updates:

"Hand-for-Hand play has begun with 653 players remaining. Media access has been severely restricted as all media that is not ESPN has been relegated to the rail during hand-for-hand play, so our coverage will be very limited during this time. Thank you and bear with us until the field reaches the money"

Anyone know which of last year's November Nine are still left in + approximate chipcounts?
