This is the best ME for years with regard to big name pro's building huge stacks. If this doesn't have at least 3 big names at FT I'll simply break down and cry.

+1. so tired of joe six pack winning it (allthough two pros did wind up heads up last year). With the deeper starting stack and added levels the balance has swung back in favor of more seasoned players. you dont have to gamble at all unless you are short deep into it. you just sit and pick prime spots for quite sometime.

rubbish, last year had loads of pros doing well, at one point it looked like hellmuth, matusow and raptor could all make the final table. Seem to remember Hansen did ok last year aswell.

why would you want a pro to win it? its better for the community if a amateur keeps winning it every year. if a pro won it every year there would be very little fish in poker, as a lot of the fish would lose hope.

Only if they won it every year. The fish are in it not because they think the game has no skill.

will this really take 6 more days of play to get to the final table? over 2/3rds of the field is gone after 2 days.

Thanks for this. Just saw a friend sitting with 96k in chips.

Yeah. It plays really fast just because that's the nature of the tournament, but the structurere is deeper than ever. They will get into the money mid Sat. and it will continue at a quick pace. Expect a grind to begin around 150.

Shuffle Up and Deal
Capt. Tom Franklin just called the "most famous words in poker" and cards are now in the air.

Less than 30 seconds later, there were two near-simulatenous cries of the second most famous words, at least in this room-- "All in and a call!"

Go Ivey. Go
