Neither player ever ever has 88 there, and the 2nd player to check the river (ElkY) is never checking KK. So he must have really thought Gordo had KK

Mark Ader Doubles Through Matt Affleck

On a flop of {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}, Mark Ader led out for 220,000, Matt Affleck moved all in, having him well-covered and Ader went into the tank as he contemplated a call for his remaining 720,000.

"Will you show if I fold?" asked Ader. Affleck remained silent.

Ultimately, Ader made the call. Affleck's head sank as he turned up {7-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} for a bluff while Ader showed {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}. The turn was the {7-Clubs}, the river was the {K-Hearts} and Ader doubled to 2,350,000 while Affleck's stack plummeted to 890,000.

Hopefully none of these online qualifiers make the FT because these plays are disgusting.

I didn't know that, still don't like bluffing with no re-draw outs (unless you have soul read that guy will fold) but w/e

Joe Serok is a different player than Joe Sebok.

Serok was just eliminated.

You can imagine the string of jokes that PokerRoad Radio has had over the last year or so as Serok started doing pretty well in tournaments. But he is not the same person as Barry's son.

He had runner-runner straight, flush, AND two pair draws.

Nguyen Gets Set Up

Anh Van Nguyen opened the pot with a raise to 45,000 from early position. Both Steven Begleiter and Bradley Craig came along to a three-handed flop that brought {Q-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {2-Diamonds}. Craig checked first to act, and Nguyen continued out with another 75,000 chips. This time, Begleiter was the only caller as Craig ducked out of the way.

The turn card came the {3-Clubs}, and Nguyen checked this time. Begleiter slid 175,000 into the middle, and Nguyen came right along. The last card off the deck was the {6-Hearts}. Begleiter loaded 500,000 chips into his cannon and fired away. Nguyen again made the call, and Begleiter tabled {2-Clubs} {2-Spades}. The other hand went into the muck and the pot goes to the set of deuces.

Begleiter - 2,920,000
Nguyen - 1,225,000

LOL Begleiter, hope he's not 2+2 cause he is donking off just like we said.

He bluffed the flop with no pair no draw, hit a pair on the turn after the money was already in (assuming updates are correct)
