Actually, the dealer will be on Ivey's immediate left.

Shedload of Brits still in this.

James Akenhead, Karl Mahrenholz, Jeff Duvall, Jamie Brown, Adam Latimer, Beppe, Ian Woodley, Chuck Clark, Adam York just that I know of.

Akenhead & Mahrenholz in particular good players who could easily make a run. Beppe is, of course, an idiot. Duvall is a veteran, most of the others internet kids, I think.

Ian Woodley has the best backstory in that he won £1,000,000 on a UK gameshow and decided to spin it on the poker circuit.

Beppe? As in the guy off Eastenders??

Akenhead FTW. Had a big article in Bluff Europe last month so im def rooting.
Marenholz is a likeable guy too.
For any Brit to make the final table would be great for the UK game especially with the 4 month lay off. When Jon Kalmar made it in '07 no one outside of poker circles really knew about it.
But if it were to happen this year then it would be amazing!
Apart from Michael Greco (Beppe). Dealer friend of mine said he is a dick to dealers and thinks he is the stone cold nuts. I might just direct him to the Phil Ivey thread!

"Beppe" winning the ME would tilt me so hard. He has been on some really crappy UK "celebrity" poker shows with the biggest bunch of has-been nobodys amongst others.

really bad draw for jordan morgan

i would assume they both gamble it up. what´s the difference between finishing 180th or 19th? i mean, both of them win or lose pots worth #20 payout ($ 352,832) day in, day out.

I would have jinxed Phil Ivey had my post not gotten deleted.

Now it's inevitable. He will go bust tomorrow.

I would advise all tablemates to call him "Beppe" at all times, every thirty seconds if possible, to induce supermonkeydimarcotilt.

Boy, does he hate being called Beppe.

Doesn't really matter, IMHO. They are competitive guys that are in the upper echelons of their profession. They want to perform well, and neither will be afraid to get it in so that they can chip up to reach the final table.

They clearly care, or they wouldn't bother to wade through a field of almost 7,000 people, and spend 6 days grinding it out.

Here is exactly what happened yesterday in the Hachem controversial hand, reported from the MTT community forum:

Quote:
backstory on that hachem thing (can't 100% say its true but it's what i heard):

that kid slowrolled hachem late in a 1k tournament. called timebank, used a lot of it, then called with aces when it should have been a snap call. hachem was pissed.

kid sees hachem in person and says he's the kid that did that.

fittingly, hachem is put at this kids table today. hachem raises and the kid tanks for awhile then shoves kings, hachem calls with AQ, smashes A on river. then hachem goes "see you online"
Quote:
Ross Mallor is Tysonduke on stars and performed one of the greatest slowrolls ever online to hachem a few months ago. Ironically Mallor introduced himself to Hachem a week ago and told him who he was and reminded him of the slowroll...Hachem remember it.

oh, and I was at the table when the hachem deal went down...

1) it wasn't a slowroll
and
2) the talk that pokernews didn't hear was dude telling hachem to **** himself multiple times. lol start to the day
Odds that this finished on tape and will be televised?
