You would think that if you're playing in a tournament with a 10,000 dollar buy in, you've have the sense to PROTECT YOUR DAMN HAND when you're moving all in for your tournament life.

lol @ dumb girl.

I'm really happy for Dennis Phillips making a deep run after his poor FT performance last year. He was a total class act for the four month layoff last year. Defo established the way all subsequent chipleaders should behave.

I think by the time the FT rolled around he was exhausted, esp from having to haul his hometown down with him, and prolly confused from all the "expert advice" he'd been getting. I was happy he managed 3rd, and he def looked ready for it to be over long before he got busted. Good for him, tho the truck horns jumped the shark.

As for Eastgate, this is already one of the great WSOP achievements, imo. Be huge for the "poker is a skill" argument if he were to FT again.

Girls aren't used to having to protect their nuts.

Even though people think Hachem is a douche bag, he still deserves some respect too. He's made a deep run 3 out of the last 5 years. Guy obviously has some serious poker skills.

yeah, it certainly wouldnt be a ton of luck for him to get this far again.

Perhaps I should've been more clear who I want to convince that poker is a skill; it's no one who posts here.

And FTing two 6K fields with this structure wouldn't be all luck.

Dennis has a long way to go before he pulls off a "Harrington" back to back FT but if he does it couldn't happen to a better ambassador for the game or a nicer guy.

You guys, I have to go out in like 10 minutes but I really want to know what happened today. Can someone PLEASE make cliffs for me?

Who is still in? Who is out? Who is huge stacked now? Memorable confrontations?

I will read the posts later when I have time.

Thanks a million.

right, i know, you are trying to convince congress that eastgate's back to back run is all skill.

thus, the legalization of online bank transactions, the re-emergence of the magical donators and cute little pink elephants flying every where while you eat your banna pancakes in your flip flops and just pownnnnnnn away.

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't want your money but we're down to 175 players. Ivey's sitting at 1.2m and Cole South, Eastgate, Hachem, Dennis Philips amongst others are still in.

According to pokerpages, these are the 'notable' chip counts:

Quote:
Dennis Phillips 735,000
Antonio Esfandiari 1,200,000
Joe Sebok 1,100,000
Phil Ivey 1,350,000
Noah Boeken 2,400,000

Chip leader: Warren Zackey with 5,000,000
07-13-2009 , 01:22 AM
Joey Lawrence 1,070,000 225,000

FTW, whoa!

People have seen Hachem go deep often, they have seen him win a WPT event, they were even amazed by his solid performance on HSP, but some of the haters will still think he is a douche.

Why? Probably because he isn't a good ol' boy from the home of pokers.

Hachem doesn't take losing too well, but what world beater does?

His brother seems to do OK too.
