personally not a huge fan of having like 10 events after the ME, I was okay with 3 or 4 but its getting more and more.

and to be fair im prolly dumb for saying that but I fel it loses its prestegiousness a bit not being one of the final events? I get you want vegas to continue to thrive and other events to rthive so having it more in the middle helps but idk

The ME is one of the final events to finish. In the past, when the ME was the last event to start, Vegas was basically dead after the last ME starting flight.

The busy spring season ends with ID4 and WSOP events running concurrently with the ME are the only reason for poker players to be in town, unless they are among the chosen few still playing the ME. Seeing Vegas around MDW and 6 weeks later after ID4 is a huge difference.

They havent confirmed the full schedule yet and given the drip feed nature of the announcements this year I suspect they have another big event planned

The Big One for One Drop Isn't in the schedule, so is that still to be announced?

Not that its critical or anything, but I really hope Structure Sheets for all the events will be posted on the schedule soon as well.

I agree , but I also see why they did it.

I think having 3-4 events after is fine because for the average worker , if you took a week off in hopes that you made a deep run, and bust, now you have other bracelet event options still to play.

After last years fiasco, I wouldn’t bet on them having another one in 2020.

They said on Twitter "by April." Hoping it will be sooner than later.

The recreational players never showed up even though organizers claimed they would basically til the last minute.

I am pretty sure a bunch of pros that played last year won’t sign up again unless there’s some guarantees about participants.

I see and understand, just surprised at how many events we have after, I think its closer to 12? I guess its generally good overall then

I thought I heard it was some kind of beef between the Asian rec high rollers and Guy that kept the high roller recs from coming.

Something like that. The logic behind the event is pretty simple, pros/backers put up $100k in rake in exchange for organizers to get weaker players to sign up. The latter didn’t deliver as promised last year and it honestly doesn’t really matter who exactly is to blame for that. Players/backers put a lot of time and money into logistics/preparation and I doubt a lot of them will do that again without some guarantees.
