Ensan should give the kid a car.
Give the lad a ride

Yep. He pretty much never looked back after that.

Also does anyone know what kind of Sunglasses Dario was wearing? I kinda want them.
I was only sort of watching and didn't stay up til the end, but besides a few iffy river calls, it really just seemed like dario had the second best hand almost always

why dont they use two dealers at the final table , change the actual shape of the table maybe a bit wider. as soon as a hands over the other dealer can start dealing. could speed up the process allot.

also theres no reason for them to tank so long every decision. that makes me think that they are feel players or something ( i think allot of people pretend to think at the table , when in reality its more of just apathy for doing some actual thinking) , like you havent gone over these spots and figured what you want to do for the most part? ( also you can attribute some of the stalling to fatigue ) it would be so much better for entertainment , the game , and everyone really.

also maahs should be banned from all final tables in the future. even if he makes it again ....banned.

livingston calls off KK in the hand where hellmuth insists nobody would bluff there and he should've folded.

literally the hand that ends the tournament is the same scenario where ensan has KK and dario is on a semi bluff.

Yeah, just saw the last hand. Was Ensan so sure that he had the better hand because Samartino took so long to go all in?

Solid play by Ensan. Especially after the fact that he was running so bad for a while but stuck to his game plan. Never got phased.
Played with confidence in his ability the whole final table.

Worthy champion.

I only wish I can look as good at 55.

That stupid, arrogant, internet kid know it all attempt at a bluff by Marchington was definitely a factor to Ensans success.

Ensan killed the radio star.

Doug Polk just made 3 videos condemning Ensan's post-GTO style of play.

The call down was pretty arrogant too.

What are talking about??? Bro said he just needs to turn his a**hattery up to 11 and next time it will take him all the way:

”“Usually I’m in tournament where I don’t show my hole cards, and when you don’t show your hole cards you get into opponents’ heads when you tank that long,” he said. “If they’re going to get angry at that, more power to me.”

He added: “If they’re going to blow me up on Twitter, and get angry at me, I’m going to be hated by everyone, that’s fine. I’m cool with it.”

He said he “thrived” in the role of the villain, and said: “Hopefully I can come back here and do it again. I’ll be the villain the whole way and just take it down.

“I have a contrarian mind-set. I’ve always tried to argue with people, be the opposite. I’ve always just like controversy and had an argumentative attitude. That plays really well with the villain role.””

If it got me US$4M, then I too would enjoy making decisions that resulted in my being called a 'pathetic nit' and an 'awful player.'

I think Dario's play preceding each hand should be mentioned here. Obviously he was much more aggressive in the four and a half hours heads up than he was the previous three days as a short stack

You know what Dario was doing, trying to maximize value out of each hand no matter what it was oh, there may be some married to that, but there's also merit to folding garbage preflop so that possibly in the next hand you get more equity.

If I fold 9-3 then I'm kind of winning the 1 to 6 blinds I'll lose when playing it

This is a cardinal sin as a commentator, to be talking over the players. It's up to the director to tell his coms to be quiet so we can hear what the players are saying. Obviously no one gives a sh-t if it's a good show or not. The producer/director and crew (I love it when the camera is focused on a player who is not in the hand and not on the player who has the action) just want to get their pay check and the coms just want to blab away about anything that crosses their mind and once in a while follow a hand. Weak sauce by ESPN.

I think the producers think it is endearing or somehow adds excitement, which is true for a while but it gets old. They can always cut to the crowd at big moments.

This is also the director's call. He can control (with his direction) how high or low the audio is on the mic's above the audience. I guess they thought the nearly out of control crowd (the WSOP crew should have toned them down as well) was somehow good for the show.

This is the biggest main event winning starting hand ever. No one ever won with KK or AA before. Many have won with junk hands, most famously Doyle with T2o twice in a row.

Good trivia question that, can anyone name all the winning hands?

Last year was Cynn with KJ
Blumstein won with A2 with a 2 on the river..
Qui Nguyen won with KT v JT I think?
