Anybody else starting to hope for Ivey vs JRB heads up for the 50k?

Wish they were showing day 3 of the 50k. I doubt day 4 will start with more than 2-3 tables so we might only get a few hours tomorrow. It's a slow structure though so maybe it'll last longer than I think.

It seems to be an error with their resolution. If you click on the little gear icon and lower the resolution off of 720HD (which seems to be the default) and go to regular 720 or 360 it won't start spinning that circle (at least it solved the problem for me on Firefox). Its definately not a bandwith issue on the client side, must be something with the stream itself.

Why is there a player cap for the One Drop? Isn't it better to have as many players as possible?

Previously the stated reason was that business people don't want the ratio of pros to business people to be too high. And pros play in the tourney due to the value deriving from business people playing.

10 left in the 50k, could be a fun FT w/ Mizrachi, Ivey, Rast, douchebag Deeb, Hennigan, Dan Smith, Mueller all still in there. I see The Grinder activated his 50k tourny devil magic again. It would be crazy if he pulls off a 3rd win in like 7 or 8 years and I think he has another high finish in there too somewhere.

The 50k is an awesome event. This should have the wall-to-wall coverage that the main event gets

I hope next year it will get 4 days on twitch. They have to know we want to see it. Watching them with 30+ bets each the first few days would be amazing.

Hennigan secures his 4th top 10 finish and second final table at this WSOP. Should jump into the lead for WSOP player of the year. I'm wondering how heavily they weigh field size vs. buy-in/prize money, as it seems like the $1M One Drop could really skew things if there's a lot of emphasis on the latter.

Rast is going to be sick with himself with how he played that limit holdem hand with 1010.

He tried to explain himself on the way out but I think once he really thinks about it and talks to his peers about it he will realize how bad of a play it was.

Here’s another spoiler. Mike Leah has one of the most tilting mannerisms with looking at his cards. Besides the annoying wing span peak, his sleeves are covered over his entire hands.

If I was Jack Effel I would give him a 15 min penalty as a warning.

Yeah, not his best moment. I heard the word 'blocker' way too many times considering it was a hand of LIMIT HOLD'EM.

I haven't watched any of the live stream of this event, but I played with Mizrachi in a WSOP LHE tournament a few years back, and he played -really- weird. Can't argue with his results here though!

It was a three way hand where the board was all over Glasser's range after he called two cold out of the BB and raised the flop. For Rast to win the hand, Glasser would have to not have a set (99,QQ,KK), two pair (KQ), straight (JTs), or he would have to fold an overpair (AA), top pair Ace kicker (AK), second pair straight draw (QJs), or AQ.*

an addition to Glasser having one of the latter hands and making the fold, Mizrachi has to be going nuts with a flush draw that doesn't contain a King or a Queen and not have a heart come on the river (or an Ace if he had Ax of hearts).

Its just way too much of a parlay to be at all reasonable. This isn't even factoring the fact its a tournament approaching the final table and the pay jumps, which makes it a lot worse imo

* I think we can ignore Glasser not 4 betting preflop with regards to his range for a couple of reasons. One, never 4 betting in the BB here is a common strategy (I don't know Glasser's limit holdem background though and I know a lot of tourney players and players from 4 bet max regions 4 bet more). The other reason I'm ignoring it is because if he does have a 4 bet range, I'm guessing it still keeps the number of combos in his never fold and might fold range pretty much the same.

the 1M one drop is excluded for the POY race
