the Rio poker area lost power. so we don't know if PokerGo would've continued with bonus coverage or not.

it appears we have some good news in regards to the viewing schedule for Day 6. however, as we learned y'day, things are subject to change.

PokerGo is showing a Day 6 (Part A) with a countdown clock for coverage to begin at 2:30 p.m. (those of us who will be watching FRA/BEL will miss some of this action).

i'm expecting this "Part A" to continue until 8 p.m. where ESPN now shows a slot of 3 hours of coverage:

ESPN: 8 p.m. - 11 p.m.

now we make the assumption that PokerGo's "night crew" takes over for ESPN at 11 p.m (because there must be a "Day 6 Part B" right?). and we can cross our fingers and make another assumption that PokerGo stays with the action until they stop play at 27 players left in the Main. i really really hope so b/c listening to Ali/Nick as the field whittles down to 27 is what i want for Christmas this year.

it appears that the play and coverage of the Main are both about to pick up a notch today!

The amount of adds on espn2 last night was annoying. One hand and then break for adds.

It was a bad storm that rolled thru, I think over 40k lost power, Luckily I didn't, lights flickered one time but got lucky. Some had power out still this morning.

It'll be a super long day because in prior year's day 6 has been playing down from about 80 to 27. But I'm not sure what other option they have. They absolutely have to stick to the espn final table schedule and playing only down to 36 or so tonight would create a very long day tomorrow

Also I agree with putting the chip leader at a feature because we are at the point of the tournament when chip leaders are relevant

Brian Yoon knocked out defending champ Scott Blumstein on Day 1, and is now 2nd in chips going to Day 6. Probably doesn't happen very often where the player who knocks out the defending champ goes on to win himself (except Phil Hellmuth).

If I remember correctly from WSOP updates and Scott's Tweets after, Yoon really abused Scott and put a lot of pressure on him and Scott made a seemingly frustrated light call to bust.

PokerGo coverage starting at 4 eastern. 2 hours later than scheduled meaning that we are missing the play that was halted and meant for last night.

I want clowns. Rec players watch poker on TV and try to play that way. So the worse they play on TV the more money pros will make from recs who watched it.

I like Maria Ho but when she used to do commentary for the HPT she would complain about the long nights. Fans who are watching don't want to hear that. Be grateful for your job!
