No, it actually happened in the 2006 main event, an entire table tanked all day 6 and they all got to the final 10, sadly they were all very short stacked after and neither of them ended up winning, thats how jamie gold got to win.

The 3rd table doesn't have the RFID technology so they really only show all ins

i remember that. can't play "scared" when you get to the final 3 tables ... have to go for it and try to bring in a top 3 stack into the FT imo.

The players suggested there is 5 hrs of play left today

2.5 levels

So they will have played 11 hrs

With breaks that's a looooooong day

Just a standard 'I shaved too' joke

In reference to Lon or Norm saying the magician shaved

there is some production value it would seem in going to that third table every now and then and getting to "play along" with the players. this could be an area where Maria could shine and talk about some high level strat and such.

Don't think Lon would fair well calling the action on a table without hole cards.

It's tragic how Ali Nejad and Nick Schulman are relegated to the break desk while we have to suffer through Lon's constant mistakes, shallow strategy commentary by Maria Ho, and Norman Chad napping for minutes at a time.

Wasn’t Tom Dwan supposed to play this year? Or is he still grinding for Asian kingpins in Macau?

He seemed to be on 1/2 million - so must have lost 75% of stack before this hand
