I have a few pics I can post later.

Hellmuth just lost to Katz (not on stream right now so no spoilers). I don't know what happened but I saw him walking out and a couple people asking for a picture and saying "I know it's a bad time sorry". He said good job Cary and walked off after the pics.
Awesome PH story!

Hey, GL to everybody playing this year as well - it seems like every year there are a couple of people in the thread who are able to make some nice deep runs - would be great to see the same happen again this year!

Shaun Deeb is deep in two events right now. Is he just running back and forth between tables? He has a lot of chips in both, two bracelets at once would have to be some kind of record.

Im coming for the monster stack, but my flight doesn't arrive until 9:30am that Sunday morning. I am concerned I am going to get to the Rio and there will be a huge wait to register.

Do you actually save time by registering online with a CC? It looks like if its your first time you still would have to go to the desk to verify identity. Is this separate then the registration, and maybe there wont be a line for that? Or will I still have to wait in line with those looking to register in person?

He seems to have lots of chips in both tourney too. The $1500 NL event was just on break for 60 minutes so he at least got a break from running between the events.

Just looked at wsop.com chip counts. He's down to 3 in the 2-7, and 22/30 in the NLHE. Simultaneous day 3's might be a first?

PokerGo with the delay of course. They will be featuring Bonomo vs Farrell.

Edit: oh nope. We missed that match entirely. Way to go pokergo

Am I understanding correctly, most of the field (100 players) get half their buy in back in the $10k heads up? Feels like there must be a better way to handle it, its basically a $5k now

Yeah they really screwed that up. Only 14 players paid the full 10K. Last year it made since to give 5k back to the play in players because there was only 1 play in matchup. But when 88% of the field doesn't have a bye, it's just stupid to give all of them half back.

What they should've done is give 5k back to the players who didn't have a buy but made the round of 16. Because they won 3 matchups but had to play ah extra match so they didn't get to the money.

Bonomo is on such a pure run, he will probably win 3 bracelets in the HU event alone.

I am unexpectedly in Vegas for most of the series. The plan is to play mostly cash with a few deepstack events unless I satellite into anything else. I am tempted to play some mixed game MTTs while I'm around but my time is better invested at the Rio. Already busted the Colossus (obviously) but if I do happen to deep run I'll try to remember to post it here.

Bonomo in Final now. Should be good.

That last hand in the other semi final though? How are these people playing these buy ins?

How can you not put him on a flush there the way the action went? Ok so its tough to fold trip aces but the guy called an overbet on the turn and then reraised his river lead big when the flush completes. I thought his river lead was for info so he knew he was no good if he got raised. He got the info and still donked it off.

Why not fold in the final to Bonomo for a while with those bad hands? Don't you have to at least give a cooler a chance for a bit given how well Bonomo is playing?

Also the 100K high roller started today. A few busts already but they do get one re-entry.
Is there any way of watching the WSOP in the UK please?

If you’re thinking of posting a trip report from Vegas, the Las Vegas Lifestyle section is the appropriate place. Don’t forget a photo of your shoes.
