I don't understand folds like these. You're just going to have to show me a better hand.

Who is this Geshkenbein dick?

Tough beat for Phil.

Frankie Flowers sighting...just for entertainment value alone, he should make a deep run. Might have some bent-nose types showing up, pressuring him for a collection or two.

Whether you are old school or new school having Johnny Chan at the feature table is epic!

Wow, the guy called off with KK there?
If he folds he's down to like 15BBs, but, you're losing there

Yes that board was as wet as can be. A bluff was all he was beating.

I guess they think hand for hand play would be awful for tv. The diehards would watch it and understand it though. Fit for pokerGo

This. Deffo should be on PokerGo at least, i'd watch it.

PokerGO has stopped their broadcasting day at the Dinner Break in virtually of their live streams this summer.

The explanation that has been given is that the production crews have to work really long hours as it is, and going all night long is not in the cards (so to speak).

That's bull****

if you want to cover the whole event you can hire two shifts of production and give everyone adequate breaks

i get it in any other event, but this is the super bowl of poker and they're rolling 8h of coverage every day just to black out the bubble?

criminal, but I guess they have a stranglehold on the market atm and it's not like people are gonna cancel over it

So weak that PokerGo isn't going to cover the money bubble burst.

Couldn't they just air the FT and cut to the side FTs without commentary rather easily?
What would it cost? Electricity

I'd watch an extended commentary-less bubble

What's worse is they made it sound like actual play was done for the night. I looked at my clock and asked why are they ending play so early when they're close to the bubble?

PokerGO was PokerSTOP tonight.

Not surprising at all. You can feel the laziness from PokerGo sometimes. Like when they always take 5-15 minutes to get a stream up and running, when the card graphics don't work for the first few hands. Etc etc

I think 5 – 15 mins could be seen as a quick turnaround if you have one team leaving another need to get sound checks and readied... like asking the leaving team about any stories/etc

If it’s a cost thing, stopping early

Please sack Staples

Actually even if you gave less content... I would still be happy if it meant no more Staples

He’s not very good at delivery and is too weak at writing comedy.... for me

if there's an overlap of like ~60-90mins or something, you could easily have them take over w/o it being a huge burden. change over staff on table A while cameras are on table B. Commentary already switches over when moving from ESPN to pokergo so they shouldn't be too fried. prep while cameras are still rolling.
