That's the most fun part of the main event I think. The early day massive chip stacks from people we have never heard of, then wondering if in the next few days, those names will end up becoming poker names we will remember forever or ones we will never think of again.
I think saying it's up 174% in the past year is misleading at best considering all that growth was from 12-9m ago, and it's down 300% from it's peak earlier this year.
Idiotic? That's just not nice. You hurted my feelings! LOL
Grinder Ho and Power are all huge personalities. They were up Powers butt so hardcore about his poker training house. They LOVED him during that year's Main Event. Pisane was the guy who didn't shake Hesp's hand when he knocked him out only last year.
It's not about the earnings, it's about ratings. I stand firm on my statement. No chance that draw happens. They have been shifting Grinder around to all the features. It's not random. Its all about ratings.
You are standing by moronic statements then - have at it.
So where are all the complaints today about how ESPN/WSOP stack some tables with celebs/top pros to make it good for TV? Or is part of the conspiracy to have a day like today where they purposefully make the tables dull just to throw people off?
Part of the problem is ESPN don't seem to want to headline any table with a non American (Other than Kassouf) when most of the under 30 crusher crowd are foreigners these days.
Hellmuth's attitude about the whole thing is really annoying. He says "Yeah I was out of line but hey I'm Phil Hellmuth, I'm the poker brat, I'm special, it's what I do. Deal with it"
