Nitroll is a more accurate label and it was 4 minutes. It really bugged me at the time but I had been up all night watching it and was tired and cranky. Which is kind of ironic lol, given that that is what many said who defended him and/or Miles actions at the end.

He said in interview he thought he saw Cynn's card as 10h. I don't know if that means he was trying to bluff him off K10s or 1010 but I think it affected the play, as well as Cynn's tank if his opponent knew 1/2 his hand.

I interpreted it as an end-the-hand now protection bet against underpairs and broadway overcards. The pot was a bloated 133 million when Miles pushed.

After giving it more thought I don't think Miles's Q8 jam was a punt.

My instinct would be to go for the check-call there, because I don't think you're getting better to fold or getting called by much that's worse.

But there probably are some worse 8s that could call some % of the time and there's probably something to be said for equity denial vs overcards. Either way it would have been hard for him to get away from it.

If Miles thought Cynn had the Th, with two hearts on the called flop, that puts a lot of flush draws in his range.

Lol they are showing a replay of the final hand right now. I too had mellowed on it after a few hours and some sleep, but that said it was really kinda lame imo. Especially at the point where he asks Effel, "Am I allowed to talk about my hand?" - that's just a bit too far beyond the pale to me.

I just can't get passed the reality that any of us with any decent amount of tourney experience know in a mere few seconds, if not instantly, when we are in a situation which could be a cooler but where we are never ever folding in a million years anyways. This was one of those situations, and imo the amount of money or lack of sleep really bears little to no relevance to it.

I'm not hating him for it or anything it's just unfortunate an otherwise great series and final table had to end on that note imo. And I do think it contributed to activating Miles' pre-existing "jerk" button reaction, which was also unfortunate.
