And ftr I don't think he should be ridden out of town on a rail or anything for it.

But it was what it was. It was cringeworthy imo.

Cynn seems like a very humble dude. Could see him disappearing for the next year to stay out of the limelight

I could see that. Apparently he has been living a "vagabond by choice" existence already, and was planning on traveling to Europe. Now he doesn't need to stay in hostels unless he prefers them, which wouldn't surprise me if he does lol.

In that case it took Cynn almost exactly as much time to call as Miles did with his AK preflop against Cada.

Congrats to the new champion. It's always an unbelievable sight to witness. Nice catch on the last.

Miles shove on the turn is such an online auto shove but OOPS.

"Maybe he'll show you a little Burning man tomorrow- swift punch to the face."

The greatest takeaway of the Main.

Miles is simply a ball of smarm. He will never be able to fade his massive +smarm.

I kind of wish that instead of saying "I'm not slowrolling you", that Cynn would have said, "I am totally slowrolling you here for the main. sorry, its on my bucketlist".

Miles was a dbag the whole time and I’m so glad he didn’t win. And his mom giving parenting advice was a joke. The only people who thought Miles was likable in any capacity were the nuts at ESPN who made the whole heads up battle all about him as if he were a lock to win and a “feel good” story. He’s a jerk and, although I hope I’m wrong, will likely relapse and squander that $5m in no time.

ITT: people with experience making snap decisions after playing HU for 10 hours on national tv for $3.8 million and the entire poker world watching.

Consider if the roles were reversed. Cynn would have taken the loss in stride with a smile. Anyone who has watched this guy play more than just the final hand and has heard his story knows he is a good person. I can't stand Miles but definitely cant fault him for being salty in that spot. Majority of us would be and judging by some of the replies in this thread, many would be way worse.

Rofl... thank you

It was obviously a nitroll with no ill intent towards miles. Who cares

not only is the "slowroll" crown being over the top, i didn't even think Miles's slowroll comment was that bad. he took a little long for my liking, but as a bunch of you have already rightly said... look at the situation.

Going back a few days, why did Miles, with his AK, take so long to decide to call Cada's all in? Why did Lynskey fold his pair of Ks to Cada's all in? my point is I guess it seemed like these folks liked Cada and were reluctant to be the ones ousting him, because they liked him. Smacks a little of friendly collusion. That is how it seemed to me. That's why Miles took so long IMO ... he was struggling with that concern of not wanting to knock nice guy, friend Cada out.

That, even if you could only see his hole cards and the board but not the other guy's hand, and he folded you wouldn't have been like "omg wtf he just folded are you kidding me?"

If you can honestly say that then carry on with your opinion imo.

Are you saying that there are never situations where you would fold trips with a J high kicker?

As to the slow roll thing, they were both annoyingly cautious and wimpy in their play so much of the time, it didn't seem that much different than a lot of the other wimpishness they both showed.

Thought to myself he’s probably never wanted to get high more since sobriety than after the last hand. Friends & fam are gonna need to step up big time to keep this guy grounded. And ultimately he cares about inability to close to, get the big W & be the champ. That ego... Long way to go for Tony Miles but I hope it works out.

Remember Miles players in Jacksonville, the slowroll capital of the world, and seems to be coached by the slow role king Deeb. No way that should have bothered him. He was just blaming others instead of himself

Random question, does the WSOP allow chops? I seem to remember they did allow them, then disallowed them at some point but maybe I'm wrong?

Not sure but judging by how upset Miles was in the interview just after losing, specifically mentioning his displeasure in having to play for so much money after being so fatigued in a long session, I'm guessing they didn't make a deal. I'm also guessing Cynn wouldn't make a deal because he likely knew he had a big edge on Miles.

Caesars does not help facilitate chops.

All this talk about slowrolling but none about that sick value attempt by Miles, that 100% was a value attempt by him. I mean, if hes bluffing whats he trying to bluffout? a king?
we all know that wont work, oh wait it almost did!
