Lol, stop. Like while the odds of him being behind were small, 88, ak, kq were in his range. Now if he had KK and took that long to call you might have a point. I didn’t watch enough miles to know how wide his bluff ranges were.

(Ftr he almost never has 88 or AK there cause if he does he's probably not shoving. But again it doesn't matter because no real poker player is ever folding there. Ever.)

Please read before you comment - My point is and was this was not a slowroll.

I expected him to snap call also. But what if Miles had AK everybody would be like "how can you snapcall without even thinking'

Cynn needed a 4 or his gutter or flush to hit to win I think.
They were basically dead even at the time.

ended up chopping.
hot damn. thx. i'll look for it in the hand history now.

edit: i see you added the HH.

Are y'all really arguing about if taking a minute to just make sure you're not forgetting something 12 hours in and bleary eyed for $3.8m + world championship makes you a bad player....smh

I will take the advice from some of you plebs and not post in the thread no more.
I am just too smart for you. To say Mersen was a drug addict is wrong. He overcame the adicton actually then won. Way to dsrespect him.

Also to think KJ is ok to tank means YOU have no idea about poker, Miles was a loose cannon ready to fire off, sure he "might have 88" or AK but you can say that about anyhand in poker. A real champ would call with the KJ and win in 10 seconds. People are gonna glorify this Cynn guy as hes the best in the world now because he just won a poker tourney, when in reality hes atrocious.

Id say the slowroll was justified since Miles was a clown.

Bro it's the very last hand of 7800 person tournament, with no breaks this time, on the tail end of a 12 hour session, with $3.8m dollars on the line. Do you just NoGAF about context?

Edit: With literally no1 calling him GOAT... or even putting him anywhere near the convo.

It wasn't a classic slowroll. I didn't use that term but I think those who have see it as effectively similar in effect even if not intended.

Although on second thought there is a bit of sweet irony in the slowrollesqueness of it happening against a guy being coached by Shaun Deeb lol.

**** it. Now I approve!

Biggest winner of them all tonight was Jack Effel, who can finally sit down after 11 hours of walking around a poker table.

That thought actually crossed my mind that maybe he just didn't want to be embarrassed and even look like a "thinker" just in case but it doesn't justify the amount of time and calling the floor man over to ask if he could talk about his hand and all that crap.

He still did enough to win. Played great throughout the last few days of coverage. Mixed up his play, took creative lines, and showed a lot of courage. Great performance overall given the stakes/pressure and a worthy champion. Also seems like a genuinely very nice dude.
i assume one of these two hands you're talking about is Miles' 75o bluff hand. what is the other?

again, i went to bed after Nick and Ali brokedown the 75o bluff hand.

You must be the richest player in poker history then? Obviously have made more than Cynn. He played well and won a giant tourney, that’s it.

Miles went all in on a three diamond board when Cynn had middle pair with 87 and a 7 on the board. Miles had four to the flush. IIRC the odds showed Cynn as something like a 60-65% favorite to win the hand, but he couldn't have known he was in such good shape. I think at the time he had a decent chip lead, so if he'd known that Miles was on a pure draw then he might've called it off.
