Agreed. Plus, there's nobody for Norm to dress up as.

I was going to say something along these lines.. Manion is clearly wayyy overmatched but I read that he has friends at Solve For Why and has had coaching. Someone could have simply told him that Dyer was getting out of line with the big stack and Manion decided to go overboard with that assessment.

It's the final table and all the cameras are on, people get nervous. Nobody wants to be bluffed on TV either. You never live that down.

He just needs to relax and play his game that got him here, it's his best shot.
This probably is the game that got him here, he just ended up with AA v KK enough to make up for it.

Re-posting this now during a break so it won't disrupt the thread too much. But it might do some good if someone new enters the thread.

Today's gratuitous warning:

No spoiling any hand or bustouts not yet aired on ESPN/PokerGO.

(They typically use a 30-minute delay, so take that into account if need be.)

This warning may be repeated later as well.

Would be cool to see Cada win. Just the fact that he’s at the final table is quite the accomplishment.

I think Manion is on tilt. Nothing has gone his way since this final table started. And especially probably sees Dyer as a maniac as i'm sure all his buddies told him yesterday about how Dyer was raising every hand.

Schuman’s frames have to be maybe the worst thing I’ve ever seen. Even with his dark hair and skin they just look bad. I couldn’t imagine those things on someone with light hair and skin

If Labat didn't flat yesterday and it goes raise, 3bet, 4bet shove, 5bet reshove different turnout?

With the flat I'd have a tough time folding yesterday because I think Zhu can shove QQ/JJ and and because we flatted Manion's shove could just be looking to isolate.

Miles/Cada situation i'd probably think harder about folding tbh...

The funny thing is Dyer wasn’t that crazy nor was he really getting hit with the deck. At least not once they went down to the one table. He wasn’t exactly running cold but I didn’t think he was running that hot either and he hasn’t been so far tonight

I'm surprised metalidi hasn't played better than this; he's got results that suggest he's capable.

Get AA vs KK/KK.
Got it.

If either Miles or Cada had aces everyone would be talking about how crazy it was the shove/call and how it was obvious the other guy range was aces and one combo of KK so why is no one talking about that hand?

I think this will wrap but 130 Eastern at worst. Tomorrow night might be a 8-10 hour deal though. Unless a couple of guys in the 30s or 40s get dinged hard tonight it’s gonna go awhile tomorrow

This has probably been asked and answered but what's the benefit of pulling your jacket/hoodie up above your mouth when in a hand, esp when it already covers the carotid artery of your neck?

I can't believe Manion is down to 77 mil from the first level of final table. That is a lot of chips to lose. He needs to realize he still in an awesome position and not reflect on what a disaster this has been so far.
