The deal sucks but that Fedor hand was really exciting and kind of made the tournament.

The commentators seem to ignore it. It would be much better if the deal was done in the open and they left a little something to play for instead of pretending it didn't happen.

I wonder how much they care. Earlier this summer Petrangelo and Fox looked like they couldn't get out of there fast enough

Well, I'm not sure how much the semi-retired Fedor cares about the bracelet, but Dan definitely wants to win his first-ever bracelet, and Bonomo has already stated he wants to be #1 on the official all-time money list (which we all know is flawed due to deals/backers/etc.)

So, we have at least two people who care? The big shame is that we aren't seeing how these three would play against each other with huge $$ on the line- that might have been the best viewing of the summer.

im an actually sickened by Jacks ruling that Salomon had to show the Ah. what a disaster and he should never be allowed at a final table again because of this.

he mightve cost Salomon $4mm in equity or more

With Kaverman all in the only thing it accomplished was giving Fedor important information

Weren't they ranting about how much the bracelet for this event was worth before?

Thats what i was thinking, fedor is definitely folding if he doesnt see the Ah, disgusting ruling since kaverman was allin already and didnt matter if he saw the card or not. Can someone confirm this is what happened?

this actually only hurts the winner. you get taxed on the bracelet but get no money for it. and you can never sell it for what its valued.

thats why ive always thought it would be interesting to see someone win the main event with like 15-20% of themselves and get a 300k-400k tax on the bracelet.

especially if they made a deal and they got like 20% of $6mm

such an NVG thing to pile on jack for the ruling when salomon is 1000000% to blame. how hard is it to protect your hand? poker is a beautiful game because the rules (are supposed to) apply to everyone. normally i'm all for common sense rulings, but you're advocating for jack to bend the rules because he decided to treat a $1,000,000 buy-in like a home game. squeeze your cards like every other gd hand and don't get punished. ez game.

What the hell did Salomon do? I didn't even see the card until Jack told him to turn it over.
